Beachfront vacation rentals in Gooseberry Beach

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. Our hosts were very nice and Jenifer was extremely accommodating. The space was very comfortable , clean, and the kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. The area is very walkable with many great restaurants, bars, and an awesome coffee shop very close by. Parking was perfect and a huge plus was the ability to take our boat also!!

Host Donna was very responsive. House and linens were very clean. The neighborhood, while quiet was not the greatest to walk with young children. The best things about this house are the kitchen, and the view. Overall it was perfect for our family while our home was being renovated.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The view was very beautiful! There’s a large beautiful deck with comfortable furniture. The house has a certain ambiance to it, and the history of it must be interesting.

The Sea Glass Cottage was clean, had amazing views, organized, had everything we needed, and was located on what appeared to be the best part of the island. It was one of the few places where the home patio facing the water without a street obstruction. The decoration and amenities were in perfect condition, and decor was so cute and cozy. It was clearly thought through by a home decor professional. Great place for a couples getaway...coffee on the patio at sunrise, walks around historic farms and nature reserves, crabbing at the dedicated beach to the home and sunset walks on the sandy beach just a short drive away. Emily was so responsive to our questions especially since this was our first time to Air B&B...may have been too numerous. She was a delightful host.

We had such a lovely stay at Fly Fisher's Cottage! It was really easy to get to local restaurants and places to visit from here, and just as nice to walk around the neighborhood and visit the beach. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and is very stylish to boot. Clare was super accommodating too. I would happily stay here again if we're in the area! P.s. Definitely visit Rome Point Cafe just around the corner, and try their griddled banana bread!

Molly was a great host- Quick to answer any questions and friendly! The house was so comfy and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and close to some good restaurants. It was the perfect stay for our family of 5. I just wish it had 2 bathrooms but that’s no one’s fault- just how older homes were built. So glad we found this gem!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is surreal. Location is a bit far off but that what you want sometimes. Irrespective it’s not far away from anywhere you may need to go. Overall would go there again in the future.

We would love to return. We had a wedding a the Newport Beach house so it was super easy to walk across the street and walk back after the event.

I was so happy to have a room with a view of the ocean (though it included a view of some telephone lines and street lights, just fyi) and to be literally across the street from the beach. The room was spacious and calm, with lots of natural light, the bed was huge and comfy and clean, the parking was easy, and I really thought this was a great base for my Newport trip. Note; I stayed int he original building.

Thank you the place was awesome no complaints here me and the family had a great time and from some one that didn’t grow up seeing a place like this one this created a great memories for me and the family once again thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Newport Beach Hotel & Suites’s! Our first night there was a wedding party who stayed up quite late but the hotel was very accommodating when it came to moving our room due to some late night noise. Kris at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Extremely friendly, going above and beyond answering questions and making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location was right near the Newport downtown but far enough away that it wasn't too crowded when walking for coffee or grabbing lunch. Lastly, the rooms/bathrooms were renovated recently and were very nicely done!

I love this location. Huge rooms. Comfortable king size bed . Quiet. Great views. You can walk to this little beach around the corner. The kitchen has everything you need. Pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker. I bring my own food and cook. The tv has cable but I didn't see how to get Netflix. Also there are two big bathrooms. They have a pool but I haven't used it since I go in April. Newport is a quick drive over the bridge (there is a $4 toll fee- if you have EZpass no big deal). Plenty fo shops and restaurants in Newport and of course the huge mansions from the 1890's. It's about $50 to go into two of them. Or the Breakers, the most famous one is $35pp. Check out Bellevue Ave, its fabulous. I also like to eat at the Red Parrot. There are plenty of local shops to browse, and the Wharf where you can walk along the water. Parking is free in the winter/early spring. Check the signs cause they do have metered parking. I can usually find something, and there are lots you can pay per hour.

We stayed for only 1 night. The description and reviews are accurate. The house was exactly what we needed. The location is great with an easy walk into town. Our son caught 3 fish off the dock. We loved our quick stay and would absolutely stay again.

Exactly what we were hoping for! Location and view were outstanding. The working dock was so fun to watch!! Everything was fantastic!!!

The cottage is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed!! Jonas was incredibly communicative and helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of this rental!

Tina's BnB is so peaceful and in a beautiful setting with a beach. The cottage is right on the bay - sunsets are stunning. The bed is very comfortable, which is unusual for most BnBs. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and I slept well each night! Everything was clean. Even though I ate out nightly, the kitchen had all that you need to prepare a dinner. There is also a shed with beach toys and chairs. Tina checked in a few times through the message app and offered assistance, but I had everything I needed. I loved my stay and will return in the future!

While the weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time) the cottage and views made up for the weather. From the table to the couch the views are wonderful. The cottage is very well stocked from towels and blankets to the kitchen. We did not need anything that wasn't supplied. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower might not work well for a larger person. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our long weekend and would book this cottage again.

Very cute, comfortable, and clean cottage right on the water. Easy to find with multiple food spots in walking distance. Albert was very communicative and we really enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends visiting the area!

Connie's place was an excellent stay in the heart of Jamestown. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk down the main street to all the restaurants and shops. We took the Ferry over to Newport one day and it was easy and a great way to enjoy the bay! Connie had everything we needed for our stay, and it was much appreciated as I had forgotten a few toiletries that luckily, she had in the apartment. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family who come visit the area!

This house was even better than the pictures! It had absolutely everything you would need for a perfect staycation, and with a private beach where the sun sets right across the water, it truly is a little slice of heaven! There was so much to do with even more than expected, like the foosball coffee table which was a big hit or the arcade machine which had over 1000 games! A ton of fun surprises, we even got lost looking at all the artwork and decorations! The perfect day of tanning ending with a fire on the beach for dinner and smores, then to the inside to play vinyls and games the rest of the night. A dream house and the perfect place for great memories, I wish I never had to leave! And with great hosts that are very responsive you will never have a problem, even letting us add a last minute late checkout! Will definitely be back again soon felt very at home!

Gwenda and John’s home is absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic stay there during our wedding weekend. Gwenda was incredibly kind, responsive, and left clear and helpful instructions. The location is beautiful and walkable to everything Bristol has to offer. The fridge stocked with snacks was an added bonus and a very thoughtful touch. We felt right at home and can’t recommend them highly enough!

Jerry's place is directly across the street from a pretty cove in Warwick. The cottage is very nicely furnished, and the kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils, and spices for cooking. The host also left coffee and pods for us to enjoy. Jerry is a very responsive host, ensuring we had everything we needed. We had a great visit to Rhode Island.
