De badkamer is voorzien van een wastafel, een douche en een toilet. Aan de achterzijde van het erf op 10 meter vanaf de sloot bevind zich een spoorlijn. In the village, you will find several nice shops and restaurants with terraces. On Saturday there is a market. Naarden Bussum Train Station is 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from De Vesting. Accessible by bus 110, and at the station, you can rent public transportation bicycles. Within 1 kilometer, there is a large Albert Heijn supermarket.
