Spacious and comfortable top floor unit, with large windows and outdoor space. Easy access to public transportation (between Taipower Building and Gongguan MRT stops on Green Line), good food, and convenience markets. Clean and modern unit as described in photos, although showing some wear, and kitchen not as well-equipped as other places we’ve stayed. Joy met us for check in, and she and Edward (co-hosts) were helpful and responded quickly to our requests and inquiries. As others have mentioned, there was loud construction (major) across the street during our stay in mid-May, but we are early risers and out during much of the day, so it did not bother us as much as it could for others. Overall, we enjoyed the overall comfort and convenience provided by the apartment.

Overall, great experience during this stay! The location is great and the MRT station is literally steps away. Space is relatively small, but perfect for my solo travels in Taipei. Anne was very communicative and the instructions for entering were very clear and easy. Highly recommend for someone who is looking for a quiet place that has easy access to most of the city!

The apartment is cool to stay in - very close to the Guting MRT station, next to a 7/11 and not far from Shida Night Market. I liked that the bed is next to Windows - so you can open the shades in the morning to see what the weather is like. Little minus is the Small shower area right next to toilet - but for me it was fine.

When I checked in at Ming Chun's unit, I discovered it was located on the 6th floor of a no elevator building. Unfortunately, this issue made our stay impractical, as I had booked this unit for my brother and sister-in-law who, were visiting our mother. My sister-in-law has mobility issues and simply could not have managed walking up six flights of stairs everyday for an entire week. I messaged Ming Chun about this problem, and offered him 50% of the rental cost as an inconvenience and potential opportunity cost to him for cancelling my booking. He replied to my message within 2 hours, and offered a full refund. The refund process took a bit more telephone work with AirBnB Taiwan Customer Service help desk, but over all it was trouble free. I applaud Ming Chun for his no nonsense attitude in addressing my cancellation in a timely manner, and refunding the full amount when he didn't necessarily have to. I highly recommend Ming Chun's unit for a future stay.
