Vacation rentals with a patio in Golfito

We are grateful for all the service and friendliness of Mr. Rafael. I help and guide us quickly to look for what to do based on our interests. He put us in touch with guides for tours and was always available to help us with any questions or concerns. The recommendations for places to eat were excellent, we enjoyed a delicious dinner in a restaurant nearby. Everything was pretty clean and clean. The balcony is great for passing the time, seeing the sea or the sunrise. The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking and is spacious. The bathroom is equally clean, spacious and with good lighting. The beds in the rooms are super comfortable and the air conditioning was luxurious. Highly recommended for tourists or locals who want to live a unique experience and be close to the beach with wonderful views. Also, if you are a nature lover you can find a lot of wildlife in the surroundings like birds and frogs.

We love our stay at this stay. We found everything we needed to have an excellent rest in Golfito.

Great place to stay. The house is private on Oldemar’s property. It’s quiet and new and the location worked great for us. Recommend!

Sheika and her apartment have my highest possible recommendation. Sheika was very responsive and supportive in every way. She even assisted me with a letter to support my visa requirements! The apartment is a wonderful location and the perfect size with everything that I needed for the month that I stayed. With a beautiful apartment and an amazing view of Volcan Baru right outside, you can't go wrong. If you are going to the highlands, I recommend Sheika & her wonderful family be your first choice.

Our stay at Guadalupe's place was excellent! She and her family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was clean and tidy, with small details like flowers in the room and other small things to make it feel like home. She even put a small fridge and hotplate in our room, along with all the essentials so we could make coffee and have breakfast in our room if we wanted to. They were attentive to whatever we needed and always available to help, even offering to help with transportation when she could. We would definitely recommend staying here with this lovely family. Since we will be moving to the area in the near future, we are looking forward to seeing Guadalupe and her family again soon!

Unfortunately, we were only there for a short time, but the place is very cool! View great and very close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Vincent was super nice, helpful and very flexible! We would love to come back anytime!

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

This is a very special place. The whole property is designed for absorbing the plants and animals of the Osa peninsula. We saw aracari, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, poison dart frogs, iguanas, toucans, macaws, and many other species of reptiles, amphibians, insects, and birds. And of course we enjoyed the quiet company of Raymond the caiman. The house’s second floor veranda is a lovely place to sit. If you are visiting the Osa peninsula for watching wildlife and enjoying the rainforest ecosystem, it’s worth it to stay here for 5 days, maybe longer.

Our stay at "Casa Eucalipto" was absolutely perfect! The place was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Jessica, the host, was exceptional—she communicated promptly, was super friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Her hospitality truly made a difference! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Nadiah’s place looks amazing in photos but in real life it’s something else! The view is absolutely breathtaking. Property itself is thoughtfully designed, modern and airy, and comes furnished with everything you might need for your stay. We will absolutely be back here. Pool deck is the real star of the show with a nice sized pool overlooking the ocean and providing the most beautiful sunsets. Location is very private and absolutely worth the drive up. Be advised you will need a real 4x4 to get up comfortably. We rented a Land Cruiser and never had any issues on the road up. Pavones in general is my new favorite place in Costa Rica. People are friendly and living the Pura Vida! This place is free from major hotels and resorts, if you’re into supporting the local businesses like we are, you will enjoy it. We went surfing with Coco who runs a company called Cocodrone. Highly recommend him for your surfing lessons.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Michael is a very responsive host. If you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Osa, don't miss booking Casa Sombrero.

Absolutely amazing spot! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived ! The grounds were just gorgeous and full of wildlife! We loved the outdoor kitchen which is so roomy and lets you hear all the monkeys and birds! The kayaking near the place was fantastic! We had fun fishing and seeing all the mangroves! We can’t say enough good things about the hosts who cooked many delicious meals for us and were just generally amazing! Room was perfect and comfortable with great decks for looking out over the grounds! Just a wonderful experience in some of the best natural surroundings!

Quiet place, close to the beach, easy access and very comfortable

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Puerto Jimenez at Carlos and Sharon’s place. The place was clean and as advertised. Carlos and Sharon were very attentive and gave us some good recommendations for local restaurants. With three bedrooms, the value of this place is unbeatable! One thing to note is that it does get quite hot, and there is only air conditioning in one of the three rooms. This wasn’t an issue at all for us, but for people who can’t sleep in warm temperatures should keep this in mind. Thank you Carlos and Sharon for a great stay in PJ!

I loved this little place. It’s a great cozy spot for a single person or a couple. The landscaping is beautiful, and I enjoyed cooking in the little kitchen. The two large sliding glass doors downstairs let in a nice breeze and make you feel connected to the natural surroundings. Upstairs, the bedroom has a comfortable bed, cool AC, and a great view of the trees and pastures. Stefanie was quick to respond whenever I had questions, which helped when I couldn't figure out how to open the gate for the first time. Being able to walk to the store and beach is very convenient. I’d love to come back again.

Another A+ stay! Paola is an amazing host that communicates very clearly and concise and is always timely. Overall great experience yet again. Strongly recommend and will stay again.
