Casa do Cascão is the result of an old dream and a life project started 5 years ago. Initially a house in ruin, little by little and with a lot of effort, it was gaining form respecting its essence and taking advantage of all the existing materials. Thus arose a mountain house, comfortable, suitable to the current requirements, but given the experiences and the typical way of life of a village in the mountains, where they will be spent around the winter fireplace or on the balcony during the summer.

Com dois quartos, com cozinha equipada, sala de estar com lareira e uma casa de banho, ideal para 4 pessoas, mas com capacidade para 6. A luz clara e límpida é a principal hóspede. Casa de Xisto (exterior) e madeira (interior). A casa está no topo da aldeia, entre a casa do “Povo” e a poucos passos da piscina da aldeia que tem uma vista de “cortar a respiração”, a 3 minutos da fonte Velha, onde pode saciar a sua sede.

Cozy, rustic design house with 3 outdoor terraces and a mini pool. Great views of the village and the Lousã mountain range. The house has 3 floors: the ground floor consists of a kitchenette equipped for the preparation of meals and a salamander; on the first floor a living room with sofa, armchair, electric salamander, TV and bathroom; the second floor with two bedrooms: a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Excellent sun exposure.

Idyllic little house near Coimbra “casinha”

Great little house in small working village near Coimbra ( 25'away). Between Lousa(8 K) and Miranda da Corvo (14k). Quiet and peaceful, with views over fields. Fully equipped for Summer, April to September. BBC Channels , Dutch, French and German channels plus a few others.....about 400 of them! There is NO Portuguese TV Chanel's Electric wall mounted radiators and a log burning fire.
