I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

We came to the Upper Peninsula for fall colors. The location (at the base of a ski hill) was right on the route for one of the best color drives in the area and close to the Copper Peak ski jump that offers rides to the top to see the surrounding countryside. The charging station for our Tesla was super close at the main lodge. Eric's place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked having the pinball machine for some extra fun.

Tim’s place was very relaxing for the early weekend getaway! Would def stay with host again!

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

A group of us came to Collin’s place for a fishing trip. This place is awesome! The dock was perfect for our pontoon rental. Really enjoyed the kayaks and row boat that were provided as well. The space was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything you could want for a trip up north. Collin was very responsive and helpful with a few questions on where to find things. The kitchen is fully stocked, which was appreciated by our group cooking multiple meals per day. The location is great too. Only 10 minutes to the nearest Grocery store, and about 20 minutes to some of the “larger” towns in the area . Highly recommend little Bohemia lodge for their Friday/Wednesday fish fry. The food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere is very unique. We would love to stay here again.

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

Brent was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our annual fishing trip. Would definitely recommend!!

We absolutely loved staying at Jason Black River Retreat! It had everything we needed, was very clean, the property and trails well maintained. We will be back!

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.

Stayed in the area numerous times, but this is the first time at this location. We had a snowmobile group stay for an extended weekend and the house catered to our needs very well. Although a little slow with communication, our host was very polite. Also the driveway of the location catered to our vehicles with larger trailers very nicely. Would consider this location again.

Had a great time on our snowmobiling trip and stay. The house is three blocks or less to the trail head. The house is great perfect touch was the pellet stove and big driveway. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

This place was as described and had plenty of amenities and essentials. It had a stocked kitchen for cooking on-site and it was a comfortable place for our group. Located in a friendly area and close to everything that Iron County, WI has to offer. I would recommend for a northern getaway.

The house was very cute and clean, well-stocked, especially kitchen and bath amenities. Instructions, directions, and check in/check out very straight forward which is appreciated. Location was great as it was a couple miles from a grocery store and the golf course. Sauna was a huge bonus. It was nice to have such a cozy home to stay while we spent a couple days in Ironwood.

Lodge with individual canins on the beach of Lake Superior and 5 miles from Porcupine Mountain State Park. Very clean canins with fully appointed kitchens. Great window exposures and screened porches. I hope to cone again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as she described it and it was a homey stay for us while we enjoyed a weekend of skiing. We really liked having a fire in the evenings and there was space for us to dry our clothes from the day. The only bummer was having people stay above us. The floors were very creeky, but ear plugs helped with that while sleeping. Overall, we were happy with our choice to stay here and would definitely do it again.

What a beautiful place. Everything anyone would need was laid out for us, and even included snacks and a wonderful gift bag for my family. Will be using it again. Highly recommended. Kyaks are available to go out on the lake. Good fishing from the dock. A fire pit was set up for us. Just wonderful.

Great place to stay with great hosts! They were always responsive and extremely helpful when I had questions. Will be staying here again next winter and would highly recommend them!

Brian's place was nice, neat, and clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. It was just as pictures showed. Very good location for snowmobiling, close to trails and restaurants. Host and housekeeper were informative and answered questions well. The only down side is its on the main highway so kind of noisy in the mornings, but not a deal breaker for us.
