Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gloucester County

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Anthony was a great host. He made sure we had all we needed. He was very responsive. The home was clean and huge. The area was safe feeling. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the York River. The house was exceptionally clean and they had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice bonus for listening to music while overlooking the river from the sitting room. We had a minor issue with the plumbing, but they quickly reacted and it did not interfere with our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book again in this same location.

Cannot wait to visit again!! The area was so beautiful, as was the house. There were so many fun things to do in the area. The private beach was perfect and peaceful! Was very sad to leave but excited to come back!

We loved the private, short walk to the beach. We spent two days exploring the area, and both mornings/evenings we made sure we walked down the path to see it. The house was clean, and we knew what to expect with the water because of the other reviews and Brad’s write up. It was a quick trip, but staying here added to the experience! Would recommend and stay here again!

We came to Mathews for a family wedding. Chip’s place was wonderful! I wish we had a longer stay to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. The beds were comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay again and refer others!

Chris was an excellent communicator. His place looked EXACTLY like the pictures. The setting is so serene and offered the right mix of Peace for working adults and fun activities for kids. The guest handbook was very helpful in identifying local good eats and things to do. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything about the space was thoughtful—from the intentional setup to the little touches that made it feel so warm and inviting. We had everything we needed and more. The kids had a blast, and the adults got a much-needed break. It’s the kind of place you find yourself already planning to return to before you’ve even left. Definitely a 5-star stay. Highly recommend!

Super amazing host! they even called the day of check in and check out! They went above and beyond to accommodate me. place was clean and spacious! probably one of the larger resorts we have stayed at. The spare sun room is truly lime a third bedroom. There are multiple pools and the indoor cotton is amazing! Great fitness center and walking distant to amusement parks! Perfect find!

We loved our stay. the location is excellent. The place was as described clean and cozy. The resort was beautiful. the pools were clean. There are a lot of fun things to do as a family there. We definitely would stay again. One thing to note there is a washer and dryer although I did not see that in the description. so if you're going to stay you know you will have access to it.

The apt was perfect for our needs! It was clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace was so cozy on the chillier nights. The cafe below is super cute. There is a small park for dogs right around the corner, which was very convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful place to stay! Tara was so very helpful, especially since we had struggled to find a place, and she was preoccupied with more pressing matters regarding Hurricane Milton. I appreciated her help so very much!

My family always loves staying at Wyndham's Patriot Place. The rooms are always clean and spacious, and the resort itself is gorgeous. The amenities are numerous. There is nothing negative I could say about this place. Elizabeth was also amazing! She went out of her way to help me find a place that could fit my group. Out of all the AirBnb hosts I messaged to find an available place during Memorial Weekend, she was the only one who was kind, friendly, and had a quick response time. Messaging her felt like I was talking to an old friend! Cannot recommend this place or Elizabeth anymore- they were both amazing and helped our trip go so smoothly.

The room is actually 2 one bedroom apartments with a conjoining door in the middle. Everything was extremely clean, well decorated, plenty of space, and the amenities are just as described. Love that the pool was open till 10pm and fire pit till 11pm. Was great to have the washer and dryer available to us which we did use. Ultimately with both rooms conjoining it has : 2 living rooms each with pull out sofa bed, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 deep tub/shower combo, appeared to be 2 king beds, a balcony, fire place, and 4 flat screen TVs. Had everything we needed an more. Was perfect for our large family with toddlers and an infant! We did run into an issue where 1 part of our family was running late. An the reservation was in their name. So In order for us to check in we had to swap names and that was an additional $100 fee. So make sure whoever will be checking in will be on time an present with ID. Ultimately we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the host was very helpful with our check in issue so long as we paid the fee. An everything was better than expected. We would certainly stay again.

Brian was responsive, kind and knowledgeable. it's always good when you have alot of questions and your host is kind and compassionate. my fiancee and I had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating family birthdays! The house was spacious and had plenty of bathrooms. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. We especially enjoyed the porches overlooking the spectacular views!

We were a group of three couples who wanted our own bedroom and private bathroom to retreat to after enjoying busy days and evenings around Colonial Williamsburg. We really enjoyed the location of Kingsmill and all of the spacious condo amenities!

This AirBnB was amazing! The line of communication from the day that I booked to the day we left was so comforting. I had messages on the day of arrival, checking on us and then received a welcome message as soon as we arrived. We walked in to a perfectly clean and beautifully decorated home, that even offered snacks, drinks, and many supplies that made our stay so easy. G-I even gave us a recommendation for pizza delivery. The furniture and decor was inviting and so comfortable. The view from both the upper and lower decks was relaxing and the patio furniture offered a wide variety of options. Hampton is a smaller and quiet town and was very easy to navigate. We spent time at the beach, which was not busy and the parking was close and free. We also drive to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The drive was not bad and we seemed to be centrally located to allow easy access to the major roads. All in all, this rental made our stay easy and enjoyable. I am going to be back in this area in April and if I need the space and comfort that this rental offered, I will definitely be rebooking.

Great place 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. Very spacious bedrooms and common areas. Clean and equipped with all the necessities. My only “gripe” is I was expecting one king and one queen bed but got one king and two doubles. It wasn’t a big enough deal for us to request to be moved. Just be aware if that is a deal breaker for you.

Great stay! Spacious, clean, functional. Kids loved the pool and bowling.

It was a quiet and lovely space with a ton of amenities (pool, mini golf) and close to downtown Williamsburg and local and state parks. The kitchen was great! Some of the other appliances inside were less quiet (vacuum, washing machine, dryer), but it was nice to have the appliances!

Super Responsive, everything was as described. Definitely would recommend.
