Cabin in the orchard "Borghildbu"

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of the fjord and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. «Off the Grid» Skogens ro

At this unique and tranquil getaway you can recharge your batteries. It is true that only the body's battery can be charged because the cabin has no electricity. It also does not have Wi-Fi and the mobile coverage is poor so here you can be in peace in the middle of nature. The cabin has no running water, and the toilet is of the primitive type called an outhouse. But the cabin is in turn easily accessible, you can drive all the way up on a private gravel road. If you want to get away from modern life, you are welcome to stay with us.

If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring.
