Monthly Rentals in Glen Head

When I saw the listing, I messaged the host to find out if the place was actually in walking distance to the nearby golf club. He replied immediately, confirmed my suspicion, and invited me to book. Everything about my stay, above and beyond its perfect location, was as good or better than expected. It was a lovely peaceful place to sleep, to relax, and to get myself dressed and ready to attend a nearby wedding. If I ever again have the need to stay in the area, I would hope to stay here.

Carmen’s place was great, very spacious, neat & clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were also all done up real nice. It was perfect for 4 families and the basement was perfect for the kids. The house was pretty close to everything and the street we were on was very quiet. Carmen and Louis were both very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again. Great location for being nearby LIU. Great backyard for the dog- if you have a large dog like we do. Fence on one side (gate) can easily be gotten under by a dog who wants to leave. House was cute and in a nice area. We expected the basement smell as it rained all week before we arrived. It was not that bad after the first day. The dishwasher had the previous renter’s stuff in it so we had to unload before loading ours as instructed. Also we took garbage out to back gate as instructed but it was quite full already. No swiffer or broom to sweep up the debris tracked in from the muddy yard. Happy with the space. Comforters were so comfy! We didn’t expect to be so close to a firehouse and hear an alarm multiple times a night every night. Not sure if that’s the norm. It was quite loud. Nothing the host could’ve done, just surprised us. Ants are a known issue- sprays available and traps but I had the dog so couldn’t use. Water crickets were gross. Entry is safe. Host very responsive

The house was in a beautiful neighborhood. Completely updated, kitchen had everything one would need , great showers , comfortable beds , highly recommend.
