I would like to stay Lisa’s property looked just like the pictures, but it was honestly even better! We have been to many nice Airbnbs but this was the nicest. It was the special touches that were so thoughtful….beautiful fresh roses in the kitchen and bathroom, battery candles that came on in the evening, muffins, snacks, dog treats, shower steamers. So very welcoming. We had such a relaxing few days. The home is extremely clean with very comfortable decor and bedding and lovely thick bath towels. The master bath is spa like. We enjoyed sitting out on the huge deck while my son was fishing right across the street. If we get back to the area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Lisa for having us.

This is our second visit in the Recycle House. It’s such a lovely oasis. We love all the unique touches and creative uses of materials throughout the house. The location just steps from the charming town of Chester could not be better. The perfect CT weekend getaway!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at Michael’s place. The home is very welcoming and comfortable. There’s lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked, more so than most other kitchens in homes we’ve stayed in. Everything was a described. Michael was a very good host. He communicated proactively and was very responsive to questions. We would stay again.

Mr. Andrew was great! Made sure we didn't go without. On my next trip I would LOVE to come back. I felt right at home.

This was our favorite Airbnb of the ones we've stayed at in New England over the years. The house is more spacious than it appeared on photos. The design of the space is minimalist and modern which we loved. Our favorite was grilling/having breakfast in the backyard that faces the giant rock - which is truly a special treat - and cooking in the spacious, well-stocked kitchen together. If we come back to the Berkshires we would love to stay at Benjamin's place again.

The place was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Alexander was welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Peter’s home by Saint Clement’s Castle for our wedding weekend! From start to finish, Peter was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly flexible with the details of our stay, which helped make a busy and emotional weekend so much smoother. Every room felt comfortable and inviting, and the clean, updated aesthetic made it the perfect place to relax between events and get ready for our big day. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat during a very special time in our lives. This place is absolutely gorgeous. I spent quite a bit of time just exploring the grounds with my dog. It was too cold to use the pool but it was still beautiful to look at and a nice view while I was cooking/washing dishes. I appreciate the tour I received when I arrived to show me around. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to book again in the future.

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

We had a great stay. The apartment is peaceful and clean. I particularly loved the soaking tub! Jared was very responsive to all my questions and provided great coffee for the morning.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

Very nice place, beautiful big deck, awesome creativity to the lighting around the property. A walking path, fire pit, hot tub, big deck to relax on, and a fully equipped stage. It is a step above camping but not quite glamping. A lot of fun, and Apple is a sweet bonus hostess.

We had an excellent stay while attending our son's graduation at UCONN. The place was clean and homey, perfect when traveling back and forth. Our plans changed and we did not bring our dog, and Ashley was kind enough to refund us. My son goes back to UConn in the fall for his master's, and we know where we will stay again next May.

Patrick and Monica were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were communicative, helpful, and especially great with our dogs. We loved the property and left feeling fully rested. We would love to come back!

Patrick and Tracy were wonderful to rent from and the house was great. We had 5 adults and everyone slept comfortably. The patio was a great experience with the pool, hot tub and great outdoor seating. We loved the area and would return in a heartbeat if the dates are open for next year’s trip.

Caroline was extremely responsive to our questions and really friendly. Great location near quaint “main” street town of Manchester. Awesome backyard with fire-pit and ample seating Spacious bedrooms Games, snacks, water and coffee station were extremely thoughtful. We would definitely rent from her again.

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The shower alone is definitely worth staying it was fantastic!! It was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax and unwind. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish, and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

This was a great place. We were in town for a couple of days with our dogs (all the way from Alabama) and the neighborhood was perfect for dog walking and getting some rest. The place was pristine and and the host was excellent. We somehow got ourselves locked out one day and he got over within 10 minutes to help us get in. Will definitely stay here again!

We spent a long weekend at Dennis’ place and it was nothing short of amazing. Our aim was to relax and enjoy the lake, and we did just that. The house was exactly as described, matched and exceeded our expectations; furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. If we’re back in CT, we won’t hesitate to book the house again!
