We have an array of things to do with local cafes, fishing club, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf and tennis clubs, and great walks all on our doorstep. Want to do a day trip to the Wairarapa region we can help. The apartment is totally self contained and has its own private access. It also enjoys its own deck, luxury bathroom and kitchen. A king sized bed is the icing on the cake. We can provide meals as required. We can help you with any travel planning throughout New Zealand - and arrange your itinerary. We can take you on day trips to our local wine region if desired and drop off and pick you up from the central city of tequired. Nothing is too much trouble. If you would like a picnic packed we can do that too. Set in a modest seaside village outside of Wellington, the property is a short walk or drive away from a number of cafes, pubs, and acclaimed fish and chips spots. The beach is just steps away. We are a 25 minute train ride to central Wellington or the kapiti coast. We have kayaks, bikes, fishing gear, paddle board available.

Our tranquil, rural Gladstone cottage has gorgeous views of farmland and native bush from the sunny verandah. Enjoy the a wine from our nearby local vineyards and a BBQ outside in Summer and the warmth of a logfire inside during Winter. A 3 minute drive to the Gladstone Inn for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and 20 mins to either Masterton, Greytown or Martinborough. We also have a 6 hole golf course available (seasonally) onsite for our guests to enjoy, golf clubs for hire for a round or two.

The cottage is built for a couple to enjoy peace and relaxing comfort in the countryside. Play a little golf - putting green at your door; wander our rambling gardens and rolling countryside. Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Only a two minute walk to get your daily exercise along the beautiful rail trail which will lead you to the local railway station walking along the old railway route.
