Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gjirokastër

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Himara und konnten Südalbanien in Ruhe und mit fast keinen Touristen geniessen. Zoe's Eltern waren sehr gastfreundlich und da sie nebenan wohnten, konnten wir täglich mit ihnen ein paar Worte wechseln... dank auch dem Sprachübersetzer! Sie haben uns in den zwei Wochen sogar zwei mal die Bettwäsche gewechselt, unseren Müll entsorgt und uns immer wieder mit Leckereien verwöhnt. Dieser "Service" ist aus unserer Erfahrung eine liebenswürdige Ausnahme! Die Wohnung war gross, sehr sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und bot viele interessante Eindrücke. Albanien ist Dank seiner schönen Landschaft und den freundlichen Menschen sicher auf einem guten Weg sich als lohnendes Reiseziel zu etablieren.

We had a lovely stay in Himare! The home is lovely and well looked after, the photos don’t do it justice (it’s bigger in person!). Great location, walking distance to town and to beaches. Would stay again.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Anxhela. Sie war immer äußerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und toller Standort für viele Unternehmungen. Ein Auto ist jedoch unbedingt notwendig. Die Unterkunft war total sauber und es war alles vorhanden (inkl. Pfeffer, Salz, Toilettenpapier, Bettwäsche, Handtücher, etc.). Bei unserer Ankuft wurden wir von einem netten Herren in Empfang genommen, sonst hätten wir diese wahrscheinlich nicht direkt gefunden. Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt (auch mit zwei kleinen Kindern sehr zu empfehlen), mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, nous étions une famille de 5. Literie très confortable. Appartement grand décoré avec goût très propre avec grand balcon. Konstantina nous a fait un agréable accueil avec de l’eau dans le frigo et de petites friandises. très réactive lors de questions. Famille à côté qui reste discrète. Je recommande +++

We had a lovely stay at Livadi Beach, easy walks to beautiful bays and an awesome bakery and many restaurants in the village. The house was very spacious and in a quiet neighborhood.

im Obergeschoss eines Hauses sind 3 Wohnungen. die Wohnung ist blitzsauber, hübsch eingerichtet. die Terasse ist das beste, mit einer tollen Aussicht.

I and my family picked this location as it was in a good location, very private and very affordable. The house was very clean, with all necessary amenities. Host was very responsive and helpful.. The locations was easy to find due signs and check in was very straightforward. Thank you for sharing your lovely house!

Fabulous beautiful house that is loved and well cared for in fantastic area. Mina was lovely we arrived early showed us where to park ,gave us local recommendations,we absolutely loved Himare and Mina’s house added to these memories , loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by and breakfast in the front courtyard.

Stefan's place is a very well located, close to a lovely and relaxing beach. It was easy to find, and has everything you needed for a stay on the coast. I can't wait to visit again!

Great location just 5 minutes by stairs to the beach. The house has everything you need, including a lovely dog that comes around to say hi. Amazing 7 night stay!

Super Lage. Man hat seine Ruhe und ist trotzdem 10 Minuten entfernt von Restaurants und Läden und 3 Minuten entfernt von einem tollen Strand! Die Wohnung war in echt noch besser als auf den Bildern. Großer Balkon, sauberes aber kleines Bad, schöne Räume.

The host was very comunicative and helpful. The place is big and spacious. The view on the mountains is beautiful! And you have a huuuuge terrace to admire it on each floor:) There were enough sheets, towels etc. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was only installed on the ground floor - there was no AC on the first floor, whilst the description suggested that there would be AC in every bedroom… so that was a bummer and this doesn’t feel right. So we had to sleep on with all windows/balcony doors open. And outside was cery There were mosquito nets very noisy… there were chickens and dogs and people making noises. A plus is that of the windows/terrace doors - but a few of them had holes inside. Overall, good price - quality ratio. But would be good to get that minor things fixed/worked upon.

Fantastic apartment on the top floor. Incredible 270° view on the mountains from the gigantic covered balcony. Fully renovated interior. We loved our stay at this place !

Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Freddi empfangen und haben uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas den Berg rauf, dennoch ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand und kann dort auch herrlich essen gehen und die notwendigen Lebensmittel einkaufen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Das Highlight ist die riesige Terrasse mit Meerblick. Wir waren den ganzen Tag draußen und haben den Blick über die Olivenbäume genossen. Es war wunderschön dort und ich kann jedem nur empfehlen die Unterkunft zu buchen.

Probably one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. Great value for money. Beach is 2 minutes walk, 180 degree view from the balcony. Absolutely gorgeous surrounding. Host is super responsive and helpful. Very remote, no neighbors in sight. Getting there is a bit tricky, recommend getting an SUV or the sorts that can handle the bumpy dirt roads.

La casa di Elvis è pulita e accogliente, con tutto il necessario: stoviglie di ogni genere, non manca nulla. Posizione fantastica, con vista sul mare e sul tramonto. Inoltre la casa si trova tra due ristoranti in cui si mangia benissimo, in particolare alla Taverna Viktoria. Elvis sempre puntuale e veloce nel rispondere alle nostre domande e la mamma, che ci ha accolto e supportato anche in un momento di difficoltà, sempre gentile e sempre presente, senza essere invadente. Grazie di tutto!

Amazing cosy apartment to spend a wonderful week at the Albanian Riviera coast. As a group of five friends, we found the perfect location for a peaceful get-away—definitely recommend!! Perfectly equipped apartment with all necessities in the kitchen but also small details such as candles throughout the living room. The house is huge and the atrium/ living room as well as the terrace outside had amazing views over the sea. Communication with Spyro and his dad was straight forward and they’re both very kind. For instance, were greeted with fresh fruits from the garden. To find the apartment, take a right turn before the hotel and ideally have a 4x4 wheel car.

Un alojamiento increíble en todo lo alto de la montaña, genial para pasar la tarde con amigos en la terraza.

The House is absolutley stunning! We would love to come back one day :)

Wat een cadeau dit huis en vooral deze tuin!! De tuin is zo mooi en groot. We gingen alleen naar binnen als het 's avonds buiten te koud werd. We genoten iedere dag van het mooie uitzicht en van de prachtige zonsondergang. Voor onze Golden Retriever was dit ook heel fijn. De tuin was helemaal afgesloten, dus hij kon heerlijk vrij rondlopen en altijd een schaduwplek vinden. Wat vooral opvalt is de liefde waarmee deze tuin wordt onderhouden. Overal bloeiende planten, We mochten fruit van de bomen plukken: zoals citroenen en sinaasappels. Binnen is het gezellig en schoon en het bed slaapt heerlijk. Toen we aankwamen stond de vader van Anita al op ons te wachten. Hij leidde ons door huis en tuin en legde alles uit. Een vriendelijke man. Communicatie liep verder via de telefoon. Dat ging snel en prettig. Piqeras is nog een authentiek klein dorp met veel kleine winkeltjes en 2 restaurants. De taverne tegenover het huis is een aanrader!! Kortom: een aanrader!

Thanks for such a lovely stay. Antrianna's place looked exactly like all the photos and she went the extra mile by arranging for her parents to escort us to the property as it's a little out of the way - but still in an amazing locating with great views, we loved having dinner on the balcony. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!
