You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. There are several cozy nooks that you are welcome to use, just as there is a Mexican fireplace and barbecue in the garden. Free parking in front of the house.

Our beautiful guest house is located in scenic Gjern Bakker in the middle of Søhøjlandet with the nature trail right outside the door. There is a private entrance from a private parking space to the cozy and spacious house. The house has a nice living room, high-speed internet and TV. You don't have to share the house with anyone else. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, air fryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker, 2 hobs. Instant coffee and tea bags. There is access to a small terrace in the berry garden through the door in the kitchen. Access to room 2 is via the stairs in the room.

You have 15 minutes by car to Silkeborg and the bathing lakes - for example. Almindsø. 30 minutes to Himmelbjerget, where you can also sail with the hjejlen. 35 minutes to Aarhus. Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg, and Skanderborg. The sky is high here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cat, chickens, and roosters are also very curious. We look forward to welcoming you 🤗
