House vacation rentals in Gisborne Region

Stanford retreat was a beautiful home and exactly as described. Our hosts were very helpful and checked with me more than once to make sure we were happy and there were no problems. I would highly recommend them, and if we come back to Gisborne this will definitely be our first choice for accommodation in the future.

Had a great stay though the weather was not on our side. The house is lovely. Beds were very comfortable and fab having the pool option on the days that the wind made the beach wild and rough. The location was amazing as well and walks on beach which is across the road were fantastic.

We were a large family group and all stayed comfortably at Hayley’s place. Beautiful, private setting, amazing pool and spa. Well equipped. Found Hayley to be friendly, and welcoming, thanks so much for having us, we all had a great time despite the weather!

We had a great time at this place. Kids absolutely loved the pool. The view of the green hills and farm animals just behind the backyard create a feeling of peace and tranquility, that we really needed. All shops and cafes are just 10 min driveaway. Natalie responded to communications promptly. The house was equipped with everything needed. Thank you Natalie.

This is a comfortable, beautiful home with a wonderful, peaceful setting and very adequate space for a large family group. The pool and garden are an added bonus. Rosina communicated clearly. Highly recommended

From the outside, the house appeared quite standard, but stepping inside revealed a lovely, clean, and tastefully decorated space. A delightful bonus was having Tiger, the friendly cat, as part of the experience! Although we didn’t meet the host in person, she made us feel truly welcomed :-) We highly recommend this house for its beautiful location, comfort, and all the essentials needed for a relaxing and restful stay. We will be back!!

Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers stayed here after an overnight tramp- Edward’s place was 5 star luxury!! The shower is awesome, there’s a washing machine and dryer, a SMEG dishwasher, SMEG oven and a fridge that makes ice! All the appliances and fittings are high-quality. Everything feels really nice. Lovely beds and linen. Awesome view from the deck. Essentials like oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and coffee plunger are in the well kitted out kitchen. We enjoyed cooking a hearty meal playing cards and watching a movie. It is minutes from Lake Waikaremoana great walk start or finish- perfect location.!

Beautiful home away from home. Pulled in driveway (take it slow if have low vehicle and wide) Pulled is and was a cute cottage home walked in and two good sized bedrooms at the front side. Beds are so comfortable, soft yet nice and firm. (Heaters in each room for extra warmth) Lounge had 2 comfortable couches (lower than normal but very comfortable) and a heat pump that warmed the whole house (Thanks Anna for having it on for us when we arrived) Didnt use the Tv but seemed it would be easy enough. Kitchen was large and roomy and very homely, had everything we needed. Shower had good pressure was very happy 😊 We stayed for a week and was a perfect location for everything we had to get done and internet for work was great. Anna thank you for a great stay, such a wonderful host.

Craig’s property deserves 6 stars. Hands down the best we’ve ever stayed in. The location is incredible and the house is beautifully presented. Craig is a fantastic host and was extremely responsive. And fresh eggs from the girls was an absolute treat. We will definitely be back but for longer next time!

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues, and they loved it. It was the perfect place for what they needed while working away from home, with a great location. The communication with the hosts was excellent, and we were able to extend the stay by another day without any issues. I would definitely book again in the future.

Our family (2 adults + 2 kids) had a wonderful stay at Anna & Marc's stunning home. The house was perfect and the property with a trampoline, BMX tracks and even a football goal post, was heaven for the children. Super close to the surf beaches of Wainui, we can't wait to come back. The super friendly cats were an added bonus, with the kids getting a cat each to cuddle up at night 😻 (we have pets at home).

The location was perfect—stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere made it a great spot to unwind. The host, Danielle, was fantastic—clear communication and everything we needed was provided. The only downside for us was the water bed, which wasn’t quite comfortable for our family, so we ended up using just two of the bedrooms and adjusted with the kids. Thanks for hosting us, Danielle! We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We are a family of five adults and two children, we’ve been traveling around NZ and after many homes this one was everyone’s favorite! Beautiful home, picture perfect surroundings and views, friendly host. Would definitely recommend!

This is a little haven in the city. Quiet street with a great fish an chip shop and grocery store within walking distance. The blooming roses this time of the year are beautiful and have a fantastic scent. Was tempted to pick one but didn't. Thank you to the hosts.
