House vacation rentals in Gig Harbor

We were blown away from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The pictures don’t even do it justice! Where do I start? The view, the gorgeous interior design, the best stocked kitchen with every appliance we could dream of, the spacious deck and delightful gardens and outdoor shower with hot water. Shannon was the most incredible host we’ve ever had. And I’ve stayed in well over 30 Airbnbs. She proactively offered early check-in when her cleaning team was done early, provided recommendations for restaurants and activities and even left us a little welcome gift. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us Shannon!

The house is roomy and spacious. Lots of different places to gather and hang out. It's pretty remote, I would suggest bringing food on arrival as the closest store is 20 minute drive. You can't beat the views as it might be the most special part of the house. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

Our stay at the Ostrich nest was great! Right on the water, with plenty of amenities and a fantastic outdoor space to take advantage of. We kayaked around the island in about 95 leisurely minutes using the provided kayaks and paddles. A/C was available but not needed - yet good to know it was there. The kitchen had everything you'd expect from a short term rental as well. All in all, it was a good weekend.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very comfortable with great views. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cozy, and there was plenty of natural light throughout the space. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like local guidebooks and extra towels. The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful at night. Check-in was smooth. The host was responsive, friendly, and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. I’d definitely stay here again!

Always a pleasure to stay here. Great host, amenities and close to Tacoma, Seattle or other surrounding cities for exploring. This Bavarian themed home and Patrick's friendliness will make you feel "right at home." Highly recommend.

Note: We did not have cell service in area around the house. There is high speed WiFi but I would recommend screenshotting the code to enter before arriving. We really enjoyed our time and the beautiful scenery of the mountains and water. Although we did not have a car and this place is a bit of a walk from things, so we stayed in. I don’t think there’s a lot to do around the area unless you have a car. Food delivery is possible though. The place is also extremely clean and very well decorated and stocked with kitchen things, books, and board games (even the dish sponge is clean). The neighbors are quiet and the hosts are around if you need them. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful house right on a lake, very quietly placed and has all the amenities and comforts a home would need. Hosts were clear with check in / check out, and general appliance-use instructions.

Loved our stay here! The location was spot on — super convenient but still quiet and relaxing, which was perfect for our family. The host was great — super responsive and easy to communicate with. Honestly, one of the best spots we’ve stayed at in Kitsap County. Clean, cozy, and just felt like home. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Fantastic home! Made so many great memories with my family, combing the beach and exploring Washington. A perfect base camp for recharging after a long day of adventures! This home is great for young children. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent our christmas holiday for 10 days at Sam's property with my two grandkids and my daughter and her husband. It was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and cold plunged! The kids loved the house and literally cried when we had to leave. The backyard is perfect for kids. We really gave the fireplace a workout. It is a really beautiful wood burning (can't find that too often) fireplace that added to the coziness of the home. The layout of the home is perfect for families. It has a great room that allows you to see everything going on which is very relaxing when travelling with a 3 and 4 year old. The kitchen has spacious countertops and top end appliances. The home has 3 - yes 3 - bathrooms that are all full bathrooms with showers or tub. The view from the house is outstanding. I will miss waking up to that view with my coffee. Having stayed at dozens of rental homes around the country, its easy for me when I come across a standout like this property. The home is possibly the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. If you intend to hang out at the house and enjoy the scenery, the back yard and kitchen are perfectly set up to entertain your guests. My family and I did not notice a single thing that we wanted or needed that was not on hand. Anyone looking to rent a property in this area of Washington, I would highly recommend this home! Im sure I will be back one day.

Stayed here for a hiking trip with friends and loved it! The house is cute, cozy, and perfectly located—secluded with beautiful water views, but still just 15-20 mins from Gig Harbor’s shops and restaurants. After long hikes, soaking in the hot tub was amazing. The host was also incredibly responsive and shared lots of helpful info. Only thing missing was a washer/dryer, but it wasn’t a big deal. Great stay overall.

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

My daughter & I got to celebrate our 21st and 46th here. The house is beautiful and magical. We loved spending our stay stepping back in time to days filled with fairytales and make believe adventures. We even spent a day “troll hunting” the Thomas Dambo trolls in the area! Such a cool stay🥰.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

Eight friends (four couples) joined my husband and I to celebrate my birthday with a getaway weekend for pickleball and relaxation. Laura's home was spacious and more than comfortable for our group. The kitchen is well-stocked, the patio dining lovely. Saturday morning was rainy. We enjoyed relaxing on the very-comfortable deck by the fire pit with books and conversation. It was cozy and didn't dampen the weekend whatsoever as the accommodations were so lovely. We loved the pickleball court and had a fabulous weekend stay!

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)
