Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Stay on the Harmonie, our cosy 1913 ship in the heart of Zwolle. Sleep on the water, surrounded by history and charm. Enjoy views of the old city wall from the wheelhouse. At the edge of the forest, just outside Assen, you will stay in a completely independent house with its own entrance and garden. From the living room, you can look out over the countryside and hear mostly birds and wind. Here you combine the silence of nature with the comfort of a modern and cozy furnished cottage.

In the middle of nature; De Ooievaar + Hot tub (optional)

Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
