Casita Clara is a stylishly renovated house in the beautiful pueblo blanco of Gaucin, an easy drive from Gibraltar or Malaga airports. It has spectacular views down to the Med, the Rock of Gibraltar and Morocco, a light-filled interior and a luxurious feel. The house is a 10-minute walk from a pool (July/August) and two minutes from bars and restaurants. But close the door behind you and it becomes the perfect hideaway for birdwatchers, walkers and anyone wanting to relax in a stunning setting.

The area is a wonderful walking area. Unfortunately I had hurt my leg just before arriving. I had forgotten how steep the streets were (I've been 3 times before) until I tried to walk them with a damaged tendon. I was so disappointed at first, but my friend who lives in the next village drove round everyday and we sat eating/drinking and catching up over long meals at the two eating places with stunning views. The roof terrace at the property was a wonderful place to have breakfast and as the sun went down watched the swallows/house martins followed by the bats. In fact my enforced relaxation made me see and feel the village in a much different way. Everything about the property was light, bright and comfy.

A cozy bedroom is presented, featuring a spacious bed dressed in soft linens and adorned with patterned decorative pillows. Natural light filters through a window with wooden blinds, illuminating the room's calming ambiance. The rustic ceiling beams add character to the space.

Small, friendly, clean and welcoming apartment typical in a charming little village. Our hosts are very responsive and, despite the language barrier, left us a lot of instructions to be able to visit the surroundings.

Very nice accommodation with everything we needed. In a quiet and private location and only a few minutes from town in an Uber. Host was very responsive and helpful when needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

A charming, rustic, quirky and very well heated house. We stayed with three couples of retired brothers and we were very comfortable and impeccably assisted by Javi, the host, who has been looking out for us at all times. Excellent stay.

The house was perfect for what we wanted. Beautiful surroundings and a great base. Auxiliadora was very proactive and easy to communicate with.

A dream stay! 😍 We went as a birthday surprise for my partner and it couldn't have been better. The accommodation is fabulous, everything is very new and done with a lot of taste and detail. The surroundings and views, wonderful. There is a peace that envelops you and makes you really disconnect. In addition, Fina's recommendations were the icing on the cake (never better said!🍒). We'd love to come back and, of course, we'd recommend it 100%. Thank you for creating something so beautiful and sharing it with others!
