TheLivInGallery 2 bedroom house Artist's Town

MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Everything was perfect. Lush little house with everything needed within distance. The two of us enjoyed nights in and around Kirkcudbright as well as a couple of evenings in by the fire. It's a sleepy little town but seems to be plenty going on on the weekends. great for a little escape from the day to day and a slower pace of week.

Third time at Justin's place. All good as per previous stays. Great for the 7 stanes cycleway or / and for work trips when you want home from home rather than a hotel. Highly recommended 👍

All the family loved staying at the Dairy.. beautiful space inside and out. Had everything we needed - no noise from the farm even though it warned us it was a working farm. Pleasant surroundings. Really enjoyed our stay

Beautiful 2BR Beach Lodge Set In Stunning Gardens

JeniRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A fantastic place to stay… off the beaten track in and amongst the trees surrounded by nature. Very private! The lodge is well equipped, comfortable, warm and with spectacular gardens. We had a lovely long weekend and even saw a red squirrel a few times doing a nut run. Recommend others going to the Butchers and Fishmongers in Kirkcudbright to stock up. Fantastic produce and a great price! Please note the Sat Nav does NOT take you to the right place so follow the detailed instructions (including photos). You can walk from the Lodge to Rockcliffe and Kippford through the forest which is a stunning walk (perfect for dogs off lead) and takes about 30/40 minutes. Bring your own dishwasher tablets, oil and everything else you might need to cook with.

The Lodge @ Slogarie, Rewilding Humans since 2019

Such a beautiful space in a beautiful area. The Lodge is even larger than it looks on the pictures, beds were super comfy and it was very clean! The local area is stunning and we went on some lovely walks.

Peaceful Cottage with Log Burner & Views

PaulineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The position of the cottage was perfect being walking distance from Kirkcudbright while being peaceful. We loved watching the red squirrels from the lounge window. We also had visits from deer and saw lots of bats. Anne was a perfect host and was very friendly and approachable. The only possible downside was the wifi connection which could have been better.

Great location for walking and getting around by car. The cottage had everything you could need and worked for us as a family. Bedrooms were a good size, bathrooms clean and well appointed - walk-in shower and bath. Kitchen had all you could need and was big and great for eating in. Weather was great and we made lots of use of the outdoor space, furniture was brilliant and very well maintained. Anstsey was very welcoming and friendly when we met her but left us to enjoy the cottage. Thank you

Knockbrex, Borgue

My dog and I had a lovely relaxing time at the cottage. It was perfect for the 2 of us. It was quite remote ( but I like that ) in my opinion so you would need a car. The High ceilings make the cottage seem bigger and the paintings done by a local artist are lovely on the walls. The cottage had everything we needed, the heating was very responsive so in no time you are cosy, I didn't use the log burner but it was great and Betsey left lots of logs. The bath was lovely with lashings of hot water. Loved it, thank you Betsey and lovely to meet you and your beautiful dog.
