Quaint 2-Bedroom Cabin

We would love to share our cozy (850 sq ft) getaway cabin. Located on rolling hills five minutes from Pease Creek Recreation Park and the Missouri River. Relax on the patio or take in outdoor activities boating, hiking, fishing, or hunting. Plenty of parking area and boat plug in available. Local accommodations at Geddes (7 miles) or Lake Andes (11 miles). It is semi-off grid, cell service ok, but not always great. There is no wifi available. TV can be run off Roku if you have a mobile hotspot.

Located in a small town. Town has a grocery store, gas station, Bar and Grill , Vet clinic, car repair shop, Chiroprator, and Post Office. The house has two bedrooms and everything is furnished, bedding, towels, all kitchen appliances , dishes and silverware, cleaning supplies, and a washer /dryer. Has 2 TVs - living room/kitchen, both Roku. Hunters are welcome along with their dogs, ( we ask you clean up after them) Anyone with a pet must also include a $25.00 pet fee when they book .

Pickstown (population 220) about 5 miles. Wagner (pop 1600) about 18 miles. Lake Andes (pop 830) 7 miles. Welcome, everyone! Our home, built in 1925, is located in the heart of the historical area of downtown Mitchell. It is situated next to the World’s Only Corn Palace and includes off-street parking for two vehicles. We love attending events at the Corn Palace because we don't have to worry about finding a parking spot; we can simply walk! Francis Case Reservoir Home

The house is in a rural setting just west of Lake Andes, S.D. The town has a grocery store, gas stations and a nice ice cream and sandwich shop. It is also located close to Fort Randall/Francis Case Reservoir, six miles north of the dam with great access to boat ramps. The house has Direct TV with a fishing theme throughout the house. There are a few steps to get up to the main bathroom and the 3 bedrooms and a few steps down to the recreation room.

We traveled to our hometown for graduations & a family picnic. Staying at The Haven made us feel like we were home, without actually being at home. It was nice to be close to all the family without feeling like we were incoveniencing anyone. We LOVED all the labels on the drawers, light switches & all of the secial notes around the house. The Haven is a cute little house that was just as described. We will definitely stay again the next time we need to travel back "home". Julie was great to work with as well. I needed to change our schedule to come in a day earlier than planned. Julie was super responsive & accomodating.

What a wonderful experience! Peaceful country location, yet just a few miles from town, the casino and the Missouri River. Cindy was an amazing host. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend her and will definitely stay there again when we return to the area. 👍👍👍👍👍

I can't say enough about Stana's place. I wanted a homey place to stay for a couple of nights while I explore the area (the Missouri River, the Dignity monument, the Badlands) and this place was perfect for that. Super cean, cozy, peaceful. Beautiful view. A great place to return to in the evening. I sat on the deck with a fire in the fire pit and watched the sun set over the river. Stana has the kitchen nicely laid out and stocked, including, 'however you like to make your coffee,' there's a pot for that. How nice! She had menus for restaurants in town, tourist brochures, easy instructions for check-in and out. If I ever hear someone say they're driving thru South Dakota, I'll tell them to stay at Stana's.
