Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Ideally located in Saint-Étienne-des-Sorts in the Gard, a charming little village built on the banks of the Rhône. 20 km from La Roque-sur-Cèze and its Sautadet Waterfalls, 20 km from the Ardèche Gorges and the medieval village of Aigueze, 45 km from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, 30 km from Avignon

L'Oasis

The Oasis, a rare place for nature lovers in the middle of a 1-hectare olive grove between Uzès and the village of Collias. In this small architect's house in Vers stone with its private terrace, totally autonomous, solar electricity and drilling, you will find calm and tranquility. In the morning the peacocks will come to greet you and wish you a beautiful day. The Gardon and Alzon next door for swimming and a swimming pool shared with us, will refresh you on summer days

Peaceful oasis in this 19th century village farmhouse. The charm of old stones and wood. Relaxation and comfort in this house located in the heart of the village on a very quiet street with the sweet song of birds. Entire home with private, non-shared saltwater pool. Located 20 minutes from Pont du Gard, Colias River, Avignon Festival and Sautadet Waterfalls in the village of La Roque sur Cèze. 30 minutes from the pretty city of Uzès and 40 minutes from Nîmes.

Ideally located, lovely stone village house with inner courtyard, swimming pool, not overlooked. 2-minute walk to the historic center of St Remy. Completely renovated this year, fully air-conditioned. On the ground floor, a nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (180 beds or 2X90 Twins) each with their own ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Linens are provided, sheets, bath and pool towels.

Located in the heart of the village, our fully restored 2020 cottage can accommodate up to 6 people. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living area with kitchen, living room, inner courtyard, garden, terraces, view of the old village. Ideally located "next to..." all the tourist sites of the region (Avignon, Uzès, Orange, Pont du Gard, Nîmes...). Also next to swimming spots (Cèze du Gardon and Ardèche valleys).

I am renting out a spacious 300 m² village house located in Gaujac in the Gard region, within a vineyard producing Côtes du Rhône. You will be close to the Duchy of Uzès and Pont du Gard (20 minutes), the Cité des Papes d'Avignon (30 minutes) and the ancient city of Nîmes (40 minutes). The seaside resorts of Grau du Roi, La Grande Motte and Port Camargues are 1 hour drive away.
