House vacation rentals in Gauja

The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Place was cosy and private right by the river. The house was really warm. There was only one big minus, it was the jacuzzi/hot tub - had to wait long for it to get warm, but thats no big deal, but once it got to 40-45 °C, the host turned it off and forbid us to put the heating on by ourselves. So the water stayed good and warm for about 30 minutes after which it started to get cold. So 50€ for a 30 min hot tub is rather sad, plus there is now way to enjoy the hot tub next morning before leaving.

Lieliska vieta, kur atpūsties no pilsētas burzmas. Viss tīrs un pārdomāts. Ļoti atsaucīgi un pretimnākoši saimnieki. Izmantojām arī pirtiņu, kas bija lieliski sagatavota. Patika, ka ir padomāts arī par bērniem, kur var drošā vidē iziet, pastaigāties, rotaļāties bērnu laukumiņā, un pat apskatīt aitiņas. Noteikti vēl atgriezīsimies!

The place was amazing for a large group! It has a beautiful front yard and a large dining room/living room area inside. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Mēs pavadījām brīnišķīgu laiku šajā viesu mājā! Gan pati māja, gan apkārtne mūs patīkami pārsteidza – ļoti mājīga, tīra un ērta vide, kur baudīt mieru un atpūtu. Apkārtnē ir daudz skaistu vietu pastaigām un dabas baudīšanai, kas padarīja mūsu uzturēšanos vēl īpašāku. Īpašs paldies viesu mājas saimniekiem par sirsnīgo uzņemšanu un lielisko komunikāciju – viss tika nodrošināts, lai mēs justos ērti un gaidīti. Mēs noteikti atgriezīsimies un iesakām šo vietu arī citiem, kas vēlas patīkamu un relaksējošu atpūtu!

Lovely house, had a great winter weekend in the snow. Great hot tub. Responsive host. Very enjoyable stay. Nice for families. Garden looks great for the summer. Definitely recommend it.

Väga ilus koht ja privaatne koht. Väga meeldis et maja on eraldiseisev ja lähimad naabrid on kuskil kaugel.

Pobyt był bardzo udany. Blisko stacja kolejowa, sklepy, ogród botaniczny. Okolica idealna na odpoczynek, było bardzo cicho. Właściciel bardzo pomocny, odpowiadał na wszystkie nasze zapytania. Po przyjeździe czekała na nas przygotowana sauna i zimne piwka w lodowce. Bardzo polecamy wypoczynek w tym domku 😊 Jedynie co to zamontowalibysmy rolety w oknach, aby było bardziej kameralnie.

We had the best time here! Our hosts were so lovely and always responsive (they even came round one night while we were out to relight sauna and spa for us so it was warm by the time we got home). The spa, sauna, cold plunge and general surroundings were amazing. Would highly recommend for a big group or family trip.

Hallo Richard, dein Haus war wunderbar – wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Uns als Familie haben nur die Waschmaschine und ein Wäscheständer ein wenig gefehlt 😄 Aber das war kein großes Problem. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder zu dir – es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist ruhig und perfekt für unsere Kinder und unsere kleine Hündin Alexa. Das große, bezaubernde Grundstück und die schöne Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen. Alles ist gut erreichbar – ob Riga oder Jūrmala. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt! Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße! Zunächst bedanke ich mich bei Ainars für die freundliche Aufnahme und seine Gastfreundschaft. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, um die nähere Umgebung zu Fuß zu erkunden. Ebenso gibt es genügend Möglichkeiten zu wandern und Besichtigungen durchzuführen, so dass für Abwechslung gesorgt ist. Das komfortable Gästehaus ließ keine Wünsche offen und entsprach vollständig der Beschreibung Ainars gab uns zudem hilfreiche Empfehlungen. Alles Gute für die Zukunft.

No wonder everyone gave a 5 stars to this place, it really is one of a kind.Everything went smooth, the black sauna is supreme. The home-made stew tasted wonderful. Great massage. Alvis is kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Alvis and Ilze!

Petrovka is a wonderful place with magnificent view on the lake, close to nature where one can disconnect from everyday worries. The hosts were attentioned and nice, we felt more than welcome (even if our arrival was very late) and even a little sad we did not have kids to enjoy all the activities designed for them: games, rabbits etc. Thank you for the peaceful time and rest!

Lieliska vietiņa, kur pavadīt laiku tuvu pilsētiņas centriņam, 20min pastaiga līdz jūrai. Skaista detaļas un dabas veltes interjerā. Izmantojām gan baļļu, gan pirti. Ļoti jauka nojume, lai ārā pavadītu laiku - šūpoles un atpūtas krēsli. Vislielākā vērtība - brīnišķīgā saimniece ar ar sirdssiltu atsaucību un sanbernāra meitene Dafne 😍 uz tikšanos nākotnē!

Loistava paikka jos haluat majoittua rauhallisesti ja itsenäisesti mutta tutustua samalla Riikaan. 10 minuutin päässä rautatieasemalta pikkurahalla Riikan keskustaan ja takaisin. Huoneisto oli puhdas, laitteet toimivat ja saunastakin sai löylyä. Käytössä oli grilli jolla saslikit oli helppo grillata. Alue rauhallinen omakotialue. Ainoat äänet olivat kanojen puputus ja lintujen lajikohtaiset äännähtelyt. Omistajaperhe miellyttäviä ja ystävällisiä. Iso suositus!

Очень уютный дом и приятная хозяйка! В доме есть абсолютно все, что нужно для проживания! Удобная кухня и большая терраса! Дом находится в 10 минутах от моря, рядом с лесом. Ближайший магазин в 8 минутах. 100% рекомендую это место расположения! Дом выглядит лучше в реальной жизни, чем на фото! Это приятно удивило! Отметили то, что матрасы, подушки, одеяло - хорошего качества, что бывает очень редко в других местах размещения! Большое спасибо за такой приятный прием!

We had a wonderful stay at Tindioru Valley Resort! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect countryside escape. The hot tub and sauna were absolutely amazing and made our evening extra special. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful. It’s a quiet, secluded place that feels very private, yet welcoming. The host was very kind and responsive, which made us feel truly taken care of. We loved the warm, homey atmosphere and would definitely come back!

Lieliska vieta kur pavadīt brīvdienas kopā ar ģimeni. Namiņā atrodams viss nepieciciešamais gan maltītes pagatavošanai, gan atpūtai. Sakopts īpašums, kurā var justies kā mājās. Īpaša pievienotā vērtība pirtiņai un kubulam tieši pie dīķa. Paldies saimniekiem!

Lisaks oli vajalik sauna kasutamise soovist varasem teavitamine. Majutaja oleks võinud seda aegsasti teavitada ja pakkuda. Majutuskohta jõudmiseks ei vasta kaardil olev aadress tegelikkusele, vajalik kasutada eraldi otsingusõna. Üldiselt oleme rahul ja soovitame.

Such an amazing stay. Beautiful property. Lots to do. Amazing location. The grill was great.

This is a really lovely cabin, 10 minutes walk from beautiful coastline. the Sauna is fabulous and the huts are well equipped and clean. The two cabins gave us space to do different things, but all come together as well. It is quite near a busy road and the garden isn't fenced, so you have to keep an eye on your dog if you bring one.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Gegend sehr genossen! Unser Gastgeber Eric waren sehr nett und wir haben uns immer sehr offen unterhalten! Ein tolles Land mit sehr netten Leuten! Wir hoffen dass es in Lettland weiter so geht und der Frieden für Alle erhalten bleibt!

Suur aitäh! Kõik oli lihtsalt suurepärane — majas oli olemas kõik vajalik ja isegi rohkem! Väga ilus interjöör, on näha, et kõik on tehtud armastuse ja tähelepanuga detailide vastu. Väga hubane, nagu kodus. Väike tähelepanek — naabri chow-chow koer võib vahel hoovi sattuda. Kõik muu jättis ainult positiivse mulje — tahaks kindlasti veel tagasi tulla!

A very relaxing stay! Great location with beautiful scenery. Martin was a great help and answered all our questions. We would definitely stay again :)

We specially appreciated the private access and walks at the beautiful beach. Our host kindly added some christmas sparkle appropriate to the season which made us feel even more homely. Communication with Anastasia was exzellent and efficient for us to navigate. All thumbs up!
