Cabin vacation rentals in Gauja

The atmosphere we enjoyed was much more beautiful as it is embodied in photographs - absolute silence, privacy, just nature and us. Everything was simple and nice and rainy weather just scraping the swim in the warm tub. I strongly recommend following the directions of the Hostess - the path to the cottage is through the woods and is a must for the weather (sensible shoes). Despite the mud, the magic of the forest is indescribable, giving the quiet place an even warmer feel.

Our stay at Evita’s place was amazing! She was so thoughtful and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The house was super clean, cosy, and welcoming and Evita was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

For our vacation in Latvia with our two dogs, we chose this beautiful accommodation in the countryside and it was beautiful and quiet. The house is cozily furnished and everything you need is available, there is also a sauna and a hot tub. We really enjoyed our vacation there. By car, you can quickly reach Riga or the sea (about 1 hour's drive). There are some beautiful castles in the surrounding area, but also restaurants and supermarkets, 20 to 30 minutes' drive away.

Had a good rest with my husband and small child. I really liked that we were offered a crib and even left juice for the child☺️ everything is thought out for the little things👍

The house is in a great location. It's absolutely quiet. There are no neighbors. It was exactly what we were looking for. The garden has everything you need. If we're ever in the area again, we'll stay there again.

We had a really nice stay at Ieva’s place (family with a 1.5 y/o and a dog) - the surroundings are amazing, the proximity to the beach, Ieva was a really helpful host too. We enjoyed our little getaway very much!

It was an unforgettable couple of days of relaxation in silence and privacy with nature. The hostess is very friendly and kind, told me what else you can visit and where to go. Great area for grilling and many leisure options: badminton, volleyball, board games. There are many different domestic birds, you can just relax, watching them and basking in the sun in comfortable garden furniture. I want to come back here!

It was a wonderful family stay for us at Vārzas. Beautiful location right next to the sea (you could hear the waves from the house) with a lot of privacy, quietness and lovely accommodation. Thank you! We’ll be definitely coming back in the summer one more time.

Amazing place for relaxation and observing surrounding nature (forest, sea, birds). Located close to the forest, Inese’s house is nearby, quite big area with green grass. Inese is such a hospitable person, she gave me fresh chicken eggs (no cholesterol), her husband does fishing and brought me freshly smoked perch, it was so tasty! I’ve chosen this location to relax alone with my small dog, and the house is well equipped, excellent water flow, clean room, WiFi, quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend it for one or two persons.

An amazing place with a peaceful atmosphere. With only two guest houses on the property, it feels very private. The natural surroundings are beautiful, and we especially loved the sauna house! It was truly unique and spacious, with plenty of room to relax, enjoy tea, and even lie down.

We decided to spend a week in Southern Estonia, and what a gem the Tinso house turned out to be. Firstly, compared to some of the sheds that charge nearly double the amount besides not having water and other commodities, Tinso house is in the five star league. The house has everything one needs and even things one wouldn't imagine, such as a cheese-grater. The linen, towels, basic kitchen appliances, pots and pans – it is all there. The surrounding area is quiet and lovely. The closest store is 10 minutes away and there are a few swimming places within a 15 minute drive. When we finally left, we were somewhat sad, as it was a perfect getaway location. Finally, a huge thank you to Ronald and his family for this wonderful place. Would visit again 10/10.

A truly relaxing getaway not even on the woodland, but in the woods, off the big road. Bird songs, green expansive surroundings. The hosts themselves were not at home. Quite close by there are neighbors that were definitively not disturbing about the hot tub/sauna should be paid for of course. The spa is not at the lodge, as a result we were basically in the tub and sauna, we only slept in the house. There was an idea that it would even be cooler in the tent:D

Very nice place to relax and spend some alone time either by yourself or with your loved ones. The place is a bit tough to spot when arriving first, but the host provided us with precise instructions. The area has plenty to do and see, but you need a car. Or you can just relax and enjoy the view and your private lake. The house is spacious enough for 2 and could fit 4. Well equipped with everything you need. High quality ceramic grill makes cooking fun. The only thing we missed was some quality meat store in the area. Do try the sauna! Totally worth it We enjoyed every moment of our stay! Highly recommended.
