A hidden gem in the Bathurst area!!!!! The spa house is awesome!

Alain likes to host and it shows. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and it's a success. The cottage is comfortable, very well arranged and nicely decorated. Without moving from her bed, the view is magical 😉 We were not lucky with the weather but were still able to enjoy the SPA, the calm and serene atmosphere and the beautiful view of the place. A real airBNB where we will love to come back and which we will remember for a long time. Thanks Alain for your kindness and may life be sweet.

Absolutely perfect getaway – 5 stars! It was everything we hoped for & more. The hot tub & sauna were such a treat, especially with the stunning water views right outside—it felt like our own little spa retreat. The space was incredibly cozy & had every amenity we could have needed (and then some). You can really tell the hosts put a lot of thought & care into every detail, from the decor to the little touches that made our stay feel special. We left feeling so refreshed & already can’t wait to come back!

Chalet du Boom is an extraordinary place and the hosts really do a wonderful job making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond for their clientele and it shows right down to the tiniest detail. The grounds are breathtaking and the chalet is warm and peaceful. You can tell that they are dog lovers and have creative hearts just be the space they create for you. Chalet du Boom is now something special for us and we will be back again. It was honestly, the best place we have ever stayed. ❤️❤️❤️

Great place near the beach, very clean, secluded, a campfire and hot tub is always a nice bonus !

We spent a week at this cottage. We loved it. It is very cozy and clean and has everything you could need. The included amenities like towels, extra blankets and kitchen and bathroom essentials were really appreciated. Pierre and Brigitte are very friendly and it was really nice speaking with them. We would definitely go back.

Matthew was great to communicate with, always responded quickly. Cottage was a great place to relax, bed was comfy. Everything there in the kitchen. Great beach to walk when tides out. The private lane was a little muddy due to rain and had some ruts but that dried up quickly after a few sunny days. Would recommend the cottage for a nice relaxing time away !!

Simon’s place was worth the price and more. Very flexible with their time and allowed us to stay a bit longer. Lots of room for all of our small touring theatre troupe. Would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at this cottage. What stood out the most was how clean the place was. We really felt comfortable sitting on couches, using the beds, the dishes, etc. As other reviewers have mentioned, what a way to invite guests. Austin and Ryan left local snacks for us, we had coffee and some cream in the fridge if we wanted it. We had a long drive coming in and it was nice not to have to rush out to get coffee and basic things. They even had frozen pizzas we could use if we needed them.THANK YOU! We were there for a small get together with a New Brunswick friend and we spent almost all our time on the closed porch. It was cool at first but they have a room heater you can turn on. And with blankets, it was perfect. It was April and we got to watch the different formations of ice on the water and an amazing sunrise. Sitting there with King Cole tea from New Brunswick was just the best.

Great place to stay for sledding!

Had a wonderful few days here in late May. Place was cozy and clean, and I slept great! Wonderful to look out over the river from the front deck of the cottage.

A real getaway near the sea. A horizon as far as the eye can see, the sound of the waves, the starry sky. Everything was perfect.

John is a great Host. This place was very quiet and private. I highly recommend John's place and I definitely will be back..... from the fishing to the nature, Everything was perfect here. Just remember it's New Brunswick, there's lost mosquitoes...be prepared!

We had a marvelous stay just before New Years! The view of the river was amazing, and the chalet was comfortable and cozy.

I grew up in Dalhousie so knew the area well. Being able to watch the sunrise over the Bay of Chaleur with my morning coffee was good for the soul. The home is right on the Inch Arran beach and so close to the Recreaplex with a great indoor pool! It was very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, dishes, linens, cleaners. We arrived late and it was amazing to find coffee in the cupboard for our first morning! Pierre responded promptly to all of my emails and was able to accommodate all of my requests. Highly recommended!

A beautiful and serene spot. I highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway on the water. Great host and house!
