Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gardon

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The location was 15 minutes drive from Arles town centre. The Loft was clean on arrival and the host provided all necessary utensils, linen, towels and a "starter kit" (eg. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, BBQ charcoal and lighter, etc). Access to the Loft was timely and by security Key Code, making it flexible to enter on late arrival. Pool and gardens were well maintained. Baby cot and high-chair were supplied. Florence, our concierge, was very helpful and proactive in answering all our questions in advance. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and timely.

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

Our visit to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence was a dream, and staying in this beautiful house was a big part of what made it so special. The house is immaculate and spacious, with three levels and a lovely rooftop terrace perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. Our bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need. Some Airbnbs look better in the listings - this place was the very opposite. It’s even lovelier in real life. Jean-Luc and Perrine, artists who run a gallery on the street level, have renovated and decorated the house so tastefully and beautifully. There are art books, antiques, wonderful art and interesting details everywhere - even a record player with a terrific selection of records to enjoy. Lastly, Jean-Luc was an incredible host, giving us recommendations for restaurants and attractions and helping with parking and other logistics. He went above and beyond. We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and would love to return.

We had the most incredible stay at this 3-bedroom townhome in Avignon! The home itself was absolutely wonderful—full of charm, character, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views that made every morning and evening feel like a dream. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, scenic walk to local restaurants and the main square, which made exploring Avignon so easy and enjoyable. Whether we were relaxing at the home or out discovering the city, everything about our stay felt special. Highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Provence. We truly didn’t want to leave!

La maison de Cynthia et Mario située au coeur du village, est magnifique. L'esprit ancien a été conservé et la décoration est de très bon goût. La piscine intérieure peut être chauffée moyennant supplément (raisonnable), nous en avons abondamment profité. L'accueil a été sympathique et chaleureux. Cynthia a toujours été réactive et a pu nous fournir des informations utiles sur la région. On s'est tout de suite senti bien dans cette immense maison de caractère, nous avions tellement d'espace pour nous deux! Merci à Cynthia et Mario.

Great place in the center of Montpellier, spacious, very nicely decorated, with books and toys for every age (especially if you are a family with children), nice kitchen and bathroom, good beds. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend to others.

Superbe roulotte dans un environnement nature, ressourçant et apaisant avec le chant des oiseaux. Des jeux extérieurs pour les enfants sont aussi bien appréciables pour ces derniers. Un accueil agréable également. Une belle parenthèse en famille, on recommande +++

Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Charmant gîte cosy aménagé avec goût, très bien équipé, propreté impeccable, literie confortable. Configuration parfaite pour un couple. Les hôtes sont chaleureux, l'accueil et la réactivité sont impeccables et de bonnes recommandation. Fort bien situé, il est à la fois facile de rejoindre Bagnols pour les commerces tout en étant en pleine nature avec plein de randonnées possibles toutes proches et de beaux sites à visiter. Gros plus pour le poêle avec le bois fourni, les flambées sont réconfortantes à la froide saison. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre magnifiques randonnées et repos au coin du feu.

This apartment is big, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is in pedestrian only part of the town and a parking about 7 min easy walk. The street has bars that are noisy at night, but both bedrooms have double windows and are absolutely quiet. Highly recommend.

Yannick was extremely responsive and a wonderful host! My boyfriend and I were greeted upon arrival, and Yannick even took the time to make some great suggestions of things to do and places to eat in Avignon! This really made us feel welcome. The place is well-equipped with everything you need. It is definitely within walking distance to great markets, restaurants, and things to do. The outdoor market on Saturdays is especially wonderful. Yannick also suggested that we take a free ferry over the river and do a picnic (he even had picnic supplies). This was an amazing idea and extremely relaxing with beautiful scenery! Thank you Melaine and Yannick!

Deux nuits parfaites. Literie super confortable et gîte très cosy, douillet, beau et original. Nous avons pu profiter des bons produits laissés à notre attention dans le frigo, des viennoiseries du matin et de la corbeille de fruits. Notre fille ravie de sa partie nuit à l’étage et notre chien de son petit extérieur clos. En deux nuits pas trop eu le temps de profiter pleinement du sauna et du jacuzzi. Accueil chaleureux de Anthony Pierre à l’arrivée comme au départ. Merci beaucoup c’était un super week-end.

Tout était parfait. La maison est superbe, parfaitement équipée et très bien entretenue. Ingrid est très réactive pour répondre aux messages, excellente communication. Un super séjour !

Depuis l'accueil jusqu'au départ tout a été parfait pour ce séjour de qualité dans un cadre paisible. Un vrai Week end comme on les aime !

My family and I had a wonderful stay in St Maximin. The property is even better than the photos portray and is perfect for families of all sizes. We had an extended stay for the month of May and it was very comfortable for the whole month, both in the colder earlier days and the more summer like end of the month. There is also lots to do in the local area, Uzes is a great town with lots of restaurants and a Saturday market which we enjoyed visiting. St Maximin also has two fantastic restaurants and lots of great walks in the surrounding countryside. There are towns to visit like Arles, Nimes or Avignon which are slightly further but well worth a visit. We would very much like to return to the house in the future and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting St Maximin and Uzes.

Magnifique villa avec deux studio indépendants, un vrai petit coin de paradis au calme avec les oiseaux qui chantent le matin idéal pour se retrouver nombreux et avoir chacun son espace tout y penser pour y être mieux qu’à la maison la literie est confortable et la climatisation très appréciables. Au niveau des extérieurs un magnifique jardin et de superbe arbres tout est là même plus qu’attendu un terrain de foot basket, une table de ping-pong, un terrain de pétanque avec les boules, une superbe piscine sécurisée ou adulte et enfants se sont éclatés sans oublier cette superbe terrasse où nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners et nos repas. Tout était fait pour que nous passions un merveilleux moment. Hâte de revenir l’année prochaine. Merci pour tout.

Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem sind die großartige Bäckerei, ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein nettes Restaurant in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vintage-Stil der Ausstattung und der Garten mit zwei Terrassen und Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Lézan ist sehr dörflich aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet. Die Tipps und Hinweise von Fabrice waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Unbedingt den Bio-Winzer nebenan besuchen und Wein kaufen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée. Les extérieurs sont plus qu’agréables avec un coin repas extérieur et un BBQ. De nombreux transats autour de la grande piscine. C’est un vrai havre de paix. Enfin la maison est à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village, c’est réel plus.

When I come back to CDP I would stay here again. A great location that’s very walkable with beautiful views.
