The "Roost" is located on Main Street just one block to the Roosevelt Arch. The main house on the property is a Stone house built in 1902 . The "Roost" was originally built as a garage, then converted to a barber shop in the 1930's. It now has been "back dated" to a cozy "cabin". ***This is a very tiny cabin only 210 square feet, it can only fit a full bed. ***The bathroom is super tiny, the shower is 32X32 inches

Such a fun location for our first time visiting YNP from the north entrance. The pace of Gardiner was just what we were looking for. The home is clean and offered our party a great night sleep after a nice hot tub soak. If you want to walk to dinner, drinks, coffee, or ice cream you will love this place.

This location is just out of side of Gardiner which was nice. It was clean and neat. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The bed was a tad soft for me but clean which is most important. The view was great from the little backyard. Our host was very responsive to our questions and we would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights while exploring the area. The cabin was stunning, just as expected! Chris was extremely helpful with recommendations of how to get the most of our time in Grand Teton and Yellowstone, as well as recommendations for Island Park. I definitely recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed!!

Amazing stay, very friendly host. Love the location, it’s right outside the north entrance of Yellowstone- 12min drive to mammoth hot springs. Walkable to restaurants and store in the area. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was the perfect location to get in and out of the north entrance to Yellowstone. We used this as a base camp to explore the whole park over four days. Gardiner had plenty of amenities for people who preferred not to camp in increment weather and have access to a dependable and affordable sleeping situation, grocery store, souvenirs and coffee. The RV was as described, and although a bit aged, it was the ideal affordable option for visitors to Yellowstone. There were clean sheets and towels, basic cooking supplies, and a nice setting to sit and relax after a long day of hiking outside. The host was extremely prompt and friendly. We would definitely book with them again when we return to Yellowstone and we can’t recommend this value-based lodging option enough!

It felt like home away from home. Lovely apartment with ample size, very comfortable bed, immaculate and clean, very tastefully and cleverly designed. Great location to explore the northern part of Yellowstone National Park. Appreciated the well appointed "to cook in kitchen" after weeks of eating out.

An outdoor porch area features a small black metal table accompanied by two matching chairs. The space is bordered by wooden planks and has red accent windows, creating a cozy and inviting spot for relaxation.
