Cottage vacation rentals in Garachico

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

We felt right at home, good location, quiet area with a very good nearby guachinche. You have many trails to do near the house. The house in general was perfect, very clean and tidy. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing and was in very good condition. Very clean sheets and towels and very comfortable beds. The only thing you have to park several meters from the house because just in front is usually a neighbor's car, but everything else is great. We only had a problem with the Oven that did not work because the leancas were skipping, but we already communicated it so they can fix it for upcoming stays. What we liked most is that it allowed us to stay on the last day until late because I had no reservations and that is all a detail from the host that very few do. Everything else perfect. Thank you very much Aldo for your kindness, we will definitely repeat again. A hug.

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

We wanted to disconnect from everything and that's exactly what we got here. It's such a little hidden gem, very private, the BBQ & pool areas are a touch with views looking down towards the Atlantic! Literally an 8 minute drive up through La Guancha and you are in the forest, I can recommend Casa de la Pradera easy terrain, our dogs loved it. A few hundred meters up the road and you come to Bodega Viñatigo very nice wines. The host Lara is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time in this spacious three-bedroom vacation home. It is well maintained and clean. In winter, you need warm clothes. Marta is a very good host, everything was ready when we arrived. In case of difficulties, she helped us a lot and was always very accessible. Thank you Marta. El Tanque is rather quiet and not a tourist spot. The vacation home is an ideal getaway if you want to avoid the tourist spots. Nevertheless, the northern beaches and villages are easily accessible by both car and bus. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished – lots of nice details! 😊 Maribel was super attentive and available at any time. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

The host Maria is great, always helpful, super friendly and sweet with our kids. We had a great stay in the house and enjoyed the view over the bay and the banana plantation. Maria also provided us with a whole load of freshly harvested bananas which tasted amazing. Totally recommended place.

Great space in the mountains with lots of local trails around the horse sanctuary. Easy communications and check in. Eloy, who looks after the animals was great and was able to help us with fresh wood for the fire. If you want peace and quiet in the countryside it’s a great location.

We loved our stay here in Los Carbonaras. The house was beautiful, functional, and had everything we needed. The only note for other people is to know the walls in the bedrooms don't go all the way up so you can hear each others (watch out for snores!). But it absolutely did not detract from the experience. We had a lot of fun cooking in the kitchen and enjoying the ourside terrace. The views from the place are stunning and it is a great location to explore the area by foot. The property is part of a small farm and Yanira's mother was an attentive neighbor who let us have some of their fresh grown spinach. They also left us some fresh eggs and fruit in the house. We really enjoyed the walks between the villages, which we mostly did on the road since there were so few cars. Nature was right on the doorstep, with plenty of birds, butterflies and plants to satisfy us nature nerds. We would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

We were delighted with the beautiful hacienda house and its flower garden. The environment in a banana grove is extremely quiet with only birds chirping. The house is functional, clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The information and photos are very clear to get to the house. Thank you for a great week's vacation.

It was really something special in April! It is even more beautiful than in the photos and the huge property (former vineyard) is very well maintained and in a quiet location with great views from the mountains down to the sea. Spanish restaurants and a supermarket can be reached by car within a few minutes. Beautiful hiking trails are nearby. The house is equipped in the best possible way - everything was there. Even the fridge was stocked on arrival so that the first evening and morning were completely relaxed. Pool, basketball, soccer and even table tennis and table football in an extra room. There was even an extra grill house. It's just great and I recommend it! The host was super friendly and gave us the best possible support. Thank you very much for the great time!

This place is incredible! A wonderful stone house in the mountains. Peaceful, beautiful and cozy like home. You can find everything you need in the house. BBQ zone is perfect. We used it every day! We had all our breakfast with a wonderful mountain view. What could be better than spent your evening near fireplace after whole day exploring? The host is super nice and helped us to find a nice whale watching tour. We didn’t have issues with parking. At least one place was available every day in the evening. We had visited a supermarket in advance before checking as there are no stores near. But it is not an issue at all. I strongly recommend that place!

What an exceptionally beautiful location. The most beautiful Panorama views over the Teno Mountains, the gorge in the distance, the sea, and all this from the terrace. The route to the apartment was clearly indicated, narrow path to the parking lot, but easy to reach. Reception and explanation from Pedro was friendly and welcoming, very nice. Very clean and maintained. Indeed, it's useful that you do some shopping. There are some restaurants open during the day with a simple menu. During the day there are many tourists, after 5 p.m. they left and reverses the tranquility, which is so characteristic of the village. Outside the Mascakloof walk, there are also beautiful walks outside the village. Ask the tourist agency for e.g. RondWalk TF 56 to TF 51 and finish the circle with TF 59. Alternating scenery with beautiful views. The only minute are the hard mattresses, but that seems to be everywhere in Spain. In short, we really hope to go back again and then for a longer period of time.

We had a great time in this authentic holiday stay! Do not expect (material) luxuries such as a white marble floor, dishwasher or netflix. However, the house exudes a lot of atmosphere and is a perfect base for when you want to discover the whole island, look up the peace and space, and don't like big tourist spots. The garden is magnificent and there is also plenty of indoor space, although we mainly made use of the veranda and the private pool. Cande is a super nice host who lives above the holiday stay with her husband, while your privacy is completely guaranteed. We were even treated to delicious, specially prepared paella. As for parking, save yourself the trouble of parking inside the fence, but put the car in one of the many parking spaces on the main road. From there it is still 30 meters (steep) walk up to the entrance of the garden.

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well equipped. Upon arrival, everything was explained to us in detail and in a friendly manner. The driveway is a bit bumpy, but quite doable and the parking space was right outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The space is impeccable. Superb view of all the rooms. BellesTerrasses. Francisco is very friendly and communicating even if it was complicated because we don't speak Spanish at all. In short, no complaints. We'll be happy to go back if we come back to Tenerife.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. You have to drive a lot for a mountain, but then you have something. Very quiet, the only thing you hear are the birds. Beautiful view and a lovely cooling plunge pool for after a hot day. As also indicated in the advertisement, a smaller rental car is really more convenient to have. Otherwise, you'll have to maneuver back and forth a few times. Communication with Juan is also great. All in all, we had a wonderful time here!
