We had a great time reuniting with friends! The accommodation was as described, very clean, well located and perfectly equipped. The quality of the layout and decoration is great. The same goes for the outdoor areas, with terraces all around the house to enjoy the sun at any time of day. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Super clear instructions, and a short message during the stay to check if everything is going well. We fell in love with the pool, the wild environment (in the middle of the forest, we could see hares) and this house with typical architecture of the region, enhanced by a high quality renovation. As architects, we have been able to appreciate the mix of old charm and contemporary functionality. Big plus also for the very high quality bedding. In short, amazing accommodation

Chris and Lotte have done a fantastic sympathetic restoration, of a very fine and spacious 1930s house, in a secluded and tranquil setting. It makes a perfect base for exploring delightful local surroundings, or further afield to the likes of San Sebastián. Chris and Lotte are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Myriam's house is simply amazing. Very spacious, with a very comfortable master suite (bedroom + giant dressing room + bathroom), a top relaxation area: Sauna & pool, a veranda with professional plancha etc. etc.! Without hesitation, a dream home that we are sad to leave. The small town of Tartas, right next door, offers everything you need, but you have to be aware that Bégaar is far from everything and you will have to drive a lot to access the interesting sites of the region. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to the coast, the mountains, lots of walks and villages with good food and interesting history. Very nicely furnished and everything we needed. It is always a good sign when the kitchen knives are nice and sharp! We really appreciated Jackie’s help .

We are happy with our stay. The house is spacious, there are lots of toys, books for children. The garden is large and the proximity to the surrounding forest is pleasant. The beach is close by car, the supermarket too. The neighborhood is quiet. We may be back ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Xavier’s place. It’s a beautiful setting and a lovely place that is clean quiet comfortable and beautiful. It has so much to offer - pool, art supplies, cinema, BBQ, walking trails, and bikes. You never want to leave. The animals are beautiful and so fun to spend time with. Xavier and Christophe are so welcoming and always available if needed. There is plenty of hot water, a well equipped kitchen. and comfortable beds. Play area outside for kids plus lots of toys and games inside. This place is truly a gem. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Xavier et Christophe!! A la prochaine

The house is exactly as described and is finished to a very high standard. There are top quality appliances, furniture & amenities throughout. It was also very clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The house is very well located. Hossegor is full of great restaurants & shops. The lake is a 3 minute drive (also walkable) and the ocean is about 8mins. Etienne was a great host. He was very responsive & helpful before and during our stay and made sure everything was perfect for us. We would happily come back again.

Jérôme and Elise are very welcoming, caring and responsive hosts. We had a great time, cut off from the world in the heart of Béarn. It's a great place to turn off phones and get back to the simple things. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The aperitif board was a nice surprise for the end of our stay. We'll be happy to go back!

We came to spend a family weekend at Iulia and Alistair's and what can I say? Their house is a haven of peace: the terrace, the animals, the river, the small touches… Everything was perfect! 🌞 We only had a small hot water problem but it was fixed very quickly thanks to Iulia's availability! Thanks again! We'll definitely come back to spend some nice days here!

Audrey's place is very warm and well located. The city center is a stone's throw away, lots of bars and restaurants are nearby.

We used Beverly’s property for a one night stopover on our journey from Spain to the UK and it was perfect for our needs. Lovely quiet location with all the amenities we required, bed was really comfortable. Communication with Beverly was excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again

We spent a few weeks at Helene's, at her family's house. The house is very nice, spacious, everything was as in the photos and the description matched. Helene is a very pleasant, communicative and cordial host. We agreed on everything without any problems. This is a place where you like to come back.
