Vacation rentals with breakfast in Galway

Staying at Tom (and Mark's) home was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland. From the moment we arrived, Tom welcomed us with warmth and kindness (and Whiskey!), making us feel right at home. He is not only the sweetest man but also an exceptional host and conversationalist, with stories and recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. The atmosphere in his home is authentic and truly magical, capturing the essence of Ireland perfectly. And the breakfasts—wow! Each morning, we were treated to delicious, homemade meals and French press coffee that set the perfect tone for our day. Tom's hospitality made our trip to Ireland truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, we only spent one night here but felt very comfortable and welcome, were welcomed as friends. There were good tips for the area, fantastic view of the bay, quiet location, we would love to come back but would stay there longer!

Ann's bed and breakfast was wonderful! The location in Galway was great, within walking distances of restaurants right by the sea. Ann provided a warm and welcoming home, a delicious breakfast, and helped me find another nearby place to extend my stay in Galway. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice place, centrally located! Everything we did was walkable from the place! Nora is a great host! She greeted us and showed us around the home. She is the kindest, nicest person. One review said it was like staying at your favorite aunt’s place and I’d agree. Breakfast was good and the time was flexible whenever we wanted to sit down and eat… plenty of fruit, breads, coffee, cereal, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, meat and cheeses… I’m sure it changes, but that’s what was available to us. You share the bathroom with the host, but it was no issue and I believe she has her own half bath. Water pressure is a bit low, so go easy on the shampoo! We had comfortable beds. And the room was clean! At times you can hear street traffic, but it isn’t a super busy street later at night. If you’re American, it can take some getting used to that the bathroom light switches are often outside the bathroom! Parking is off the street… a bit tight getting in for some! We would stay here again!

Catherine went all out to make sure I had a great stay, everything from recommending sights, offering a cup of tea after a long day's walk, to lighting a fire in the guest living room so I could relax by the fire. A great stay.

We had a lovely stay in May 2025. This is our second time staying and we will definitely be booking here again in the future when we are in this area. It is located within easy walking distance of the town centre with a good selection of supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants. Shiela the owner was friendly and very helpful with any questions or requests we had. Overall we had a lovely time.

A lovely place. It was a pleasure to spend some days in Aoife's house. It's a perfect location to discover Galway county. I recommend.

This was such a FIND! Truly the best place we stayed in our entire time in Ireland. Shawn’s home is gorgeous, with huge windows that overlook the harbor. We felt right at home the moment we arrived—our host even left out dairy free creamer for us because we mentioned we were lactose intolerant. Such a sweet and thoughtful touch. The place itself is in the heart of Galway. Quay street is a 5 minute walk, and there are incredible restaurants and bars within an arm’s reach. The place is also on the harbor so you can catch a ferry to Aran Islands right outside your door. This is a prime location! But most importantly, Shawn & his family go above and beyond to ensure your stay in Galway is exceptional. We would love to return to Galway in the future and would 100% pick this place to stay every time. We loved every second!

Comfortable, friendly and easy to follow instructions for getting there.

I stayed at Thereze's in Kinvara for almost three months while doing an internship in Galway. I grew really fond of the place, the neighborhood, and Thereze, of course. The apartment had everything I needed, if not, everything was provided by Thereze. It is spacious, very cosy, and tastefully furnished. I often sat in the garden for tanning or skipped rope in front of the patio. There is enough space for cars. Kinvara is lovely village, and very busy! There a a few restaurants for breakfast and dinner, coffee shops, and places for take-away. A big supermarket and gas station can be found as well. It was a nice 25-minute walk into the village with a great view. Galway is about 40 minutes by car or bus. Thereze is an amazing and kind host. She will do everything so you feel comfortable and make the best out of your trip. She made my stay worthwhile and I am very grateful for and to her!

We‘ve had a wonderful time staying at Ronnie‘s loft. It was so cozy and seemed even bigger than in the pictures! The loft is super close to the city center and we were provided with everything we needed, even fruit & water when we arrived and breakfast in the mornings, which was so lovely. It was the perfect place for our 3 nights in Galway. Thank you Ronnie for having us, it was a pleasure!

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Mark was a brilliant host with great communication from start to finish. The apartment is in a private complex and absolutely perfect. All the essentials were provided which was great and everywhere was lovely and clean. Huge balcony area with lovely views. Bonus for us was that it was pet friendly too. Private secure parking and you are so close to plenty of shops, restaurants and take aways. Aldi and Tesco nearby too. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

Peter's place is amazing. It's the entire top floor of a fairly large house, with stunning views of the sea and rural surroundings in every direction. It's a 5-minute walk to the sea, and a 20-minute walk to Spiddal, a charming village with pubs and restaurants and stores. Peter greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, then gave us tips on local things to do. He also had fully stocked the fridge. The beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms were dreamy, with the option to open windows in the angled roof to let in sea breeze while sleeping. It was quiet and peaceful. The two bathrooms had spacious and warm showers. I would recommend this to anyone, and if I'm in the area again in the future, I'll try to stay there again.

Great location, very handy for Galway Folk Festival , appreciate the secure parking, all was as expected.

This room is so lovely. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Orla is a such a wonderful host. Her communication and attention to detail with her space are top notch. She has everything you need provided in the space. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. But what made this space over the top for us was eating the incredible homemade breakfast Orla made for us in front of the windows looking out to sea. It was so nice, we didn’t want to leave! If we ever get a chance to visit again we would stay here.

Chris and Orla have the most gorgeous home I have ever seen. Not only are they kind and gracious hosts, they’re all true collectors of beauty!! The inside is just as stunning as the outside. The bell tower is such a sweet feature! I was late to check in and they still greeted me with tea and a little sweet treat. Breakfast was filling and beautiful. I let them know I’d like to take a bath and they had everything ready for me. What kind and lovely people. 10/10 would recommend

We would love to give 6 out of 5 stars. Linda is an emphatic host and helps with everything you need, incl. Tips for the area. You feel welcome and feel at home. The accommodation and interior are functionally thought out (including a great shower!) and we felt as comfortable as we could wish. Thank you Linda, it was wonderful and it was a pity that it was only two nights that we could spend with you. We highly recommend both the host and the accommodation.

Lorraine’s home is in a great location, a short easy walk to all the things you’ll want to do. It’s also a peaceful and quiet place to sleep. Lorraine provides a delicious breakfast and is a sweet host. Thank you, Lorianne!

Gabi and Christy are lovely people, made us feel very welcome and had good recommendations for the area. The cats are also very sweet! Would definitely recommend!

By far one of the best stays we’ve had! Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious coffee at breakfast. Beautiful grounds that have been meticulously restored. Be sure to get the tour of the castle. So fascinating. Comfy and welcoming. Would love to come back and stay longer.

What an amazing one night stay my mum and I had at Frédérique’s incredible place while we were driving around Ireland for a holiday. We only had one night at her magical place and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a beautiful stay with a warm, friendly and welcoming host. Thank you Frédérique for making our holiday unforgettable… the jaw dropping vista from her house is indescribable! (Merci for the delicious breakfast 😊 too)

Steve’s place is just wonderful, we had a great time here. He’s a lovely host and even made us breakfast for both mornings. He was really accommodating for our v late check in! Such an eclectic house in a serene and beautiful area. Highly recommend!
