Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Galle

This place was a great find. The location is amazing - right on the beach not far from Dalawalla and Unawatauna. The beach is stunning and we had it to ourselves so felt private. There are a couple of palm swings nearby where you can get the famous sunset swing photo on the walk to Unawatuna beach (15 mins max along the beach). Tharka the host was so lovely and welcoming - he was there to greet us and respond to any issues if you had any (we had none) the breakfasts were good - with a platter of fruit and eggs/tea and coffee every morning. There is a dinner menu available at the accommodation from Tharka's friend which we used one evening and it was delicious . You can order during the day and they will come in the evening and serve at the apartment outside at your table listening to the waves crashing. We had a spicy fish with rice and was one of the best fish dishes we had in Sri Lanka so worth an order and great for convenience if you want to stay in one night. We stayed 4 nights at the end of our Sri Lankan trip and it was just what we needed to relax and chill out on the beach. I cant recommend this place highly enough - the host / the location / the room is basic but all you need - I cant wait to come back!

You are right on a beautiful beach. Room and huge bed with mossie net are very comfortable with a brand new a/c unit. The kitchen has just about everything you need and the locals are the kindest people and always taking care of the guests. We were there when the bombings happened so could not wander far from the house which was ok as it was the best place to be just chilling on the beach. I would stay here again! We had a great stay celebrating two birthday’s with our friends and children. Our host was always on hand if we needed anything. For the budget this place was perfectly suitable for our group. We would Definitely stay again.

Our stay with Sameera was amazing! He has a beautiful little beach front just a short walk from Unawatuna, a perfect place to relax. He was incredibly hospitable and was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights at Yasmine Villa and were just in love with it. The villa itself is totally like on the pictures and is located on the bank of Madampe lake. Ocean coast is 300m away (we were all alone there and that was terrific), across the railway. We were a group of 5 and occupied both rooms (on both floors). Both rooms are comfortably equipped and have AC. Beds are very good. The host is ready to prepare breakfasts and dinners for you, though you are welcome to cook yourself on the separate summer kitchen. The garden of the villa is indeed full of different animals who live their own lives just by your side: we were lucky to meet lizards of all dimensions, including monitor lizard (which looked like a middle sized crocodile), frogs, squirrels and other animals which we cannot even name! That was amazing. Would definitely like to come back and will recommend it to our friends. Great place and great value for money! Just a tip for new visitor about how to locate the address: the location of the villa given pictured on the Airbnb is correct, it is located on the neck between the ocean coast and Madampe lake, so ignore the address located by GPS navi - ours led us to a wrong place. Anyway it is always better to call the host - and he will kindly send his friend to meet you at the Ambalangoda center.

Отдыхали с мужем с дочкой 1,5 года в Унаватуна в декабре 2019. Месторасположение- понравится если вам нужен тихий и спокойный отдых. Дом находится в частном секторе, где живут местные. Чисто, уютно. На первом этаже живёт слуга, который и прибирает ваш этаж. Все необходимое есть. Очень удобно, что можно было пользоваться стиральной машиной. Слуга через день приходил прибираться, также за чаевые мыл посуду, нужно было напоминать чтобы меня постельное белье и полотенца. Не очень говорит по по-английски, но это не мешало совсем, так как на помощь приходил сосед. Слуга принёс нам по кокосу- видимо с пальмы с их участка- и мягкую игрушку от хозяев мне в подарок, когда узнал про день рождения. Отзывчивый добрый человек сосед, который готов был всегда помочь, подсказать, а так же за разумные деньги возить по городу на машине по договорённости. Мы чувствовали себя очень уютно, как дома. До пляжа на байке минут 10-15. До магазина можно дойти пешком - очень близко. Большой супермаркет. Но гулять вокруг дома совершенно негде. Кафе рядом нет. И доставки еды мы тоже не нашли. Но в доме оборудована кухня со всем необходимым. Можно было легко приготовить завтрак, ужин, что мы и делали, а обедали на пляже в кафе. Мы остались полностью довольным сделанным выбором этого жилья. Цена соответствует качеству.
