Cottage vacation rentals in Galiano Island

We really enjoyed our time at the East tide’s cottage! It was lovely to be able to enjoy the hot tub and fireplace and made for a very relaxing environment. We found the pathway leading to the cottage to be a bit “wild” and would recommend not bringing a wheelie suitcase or wearing nice shoes as it was a bit muddy, even on dry days. It’s a simple, quiet getaway nestled in thick growth and we found it quite peaceful.

This was one of the best Air BnB’s I have stayed at. The cottage itself was more beautiful than in the photos. It had one of the best stocked kitchens I have had in an air bnb. Becky was lovely and very helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and look forward to coming back myself.

Jacquie place was outstanding and matched the pictures and description. Her place was cozy and had all the items (kitchen ware, linens, etc.) that you would need to feel at home, as well as backups which is always nice. Her property was on many acres, with owls, ravens and her horses which made the experience even more memorable - the hot tub was also a wonderful way to start and end the days. She was an excellent communicator and it was a wonderful first time experience to Mayne Island.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the house! Everything was just perfect. The home is beautifully set up with so much thought and care - you can tell that every detail was considered to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made cooking for our group so easy and enjoyable. There were plenty of bedrooms, and the layout worked perfectly for our group of 7 people - we all had enough space and felt right at home. The view and location are absolutely stunning. It’s a peaceful, scenic spot, yet close enough to everything we needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful, giving us all the information we needed and answering any questions quickly and kindly. We were so happy with our stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and beautiful home away from home!

From the moment we stepped inside this stunning retreat in the quiet cul-de-sac, we felt right at home! Everything you could need was available, the bed was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was icing on the cake after a day at the Trestle and whale watching in Victoria. We could not have found a better place to celebrate my fiance's birthday! Don't look anywhere else, this is the place for a couple's getaway that you won't forget!

Sally and Dale have such a BEAUTIFUL property - it was the perfect location for a girls’ bachelorette weekend. They were also such kind and responsive hosts, quick to respond to anything we needed, we truly felt right at home.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is incredible - private and so peaceful. Falling asleep to the sounds of waves hitting the rocks was number one to me - I loved it. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen so well stocked and the homey vibe is so comforting and relaxing.

Amazing spot. Extremely tranquil and relaxing. It was a nice pit stop / reset coming back from 2 days camping. Exactly what we needed. The place was clean and quiet and had plenty of style!

Not only is this home luxurious and immaculate, it is a nourishing step back in time where everything is hand-made, lovingly curated, and generously shared. I can’t recommend this little cottage enough. And if you’re blessed enough to walk the gardens, well…delightful doesn’t even come close. I really recommend this stay for a family or anyone looking to slow down and savour a beautiful time.

This was a wonderful setting for family connection. The expansive property gave the kids plenty of space to explore. We so enjoyed kayaking to Skull Island, many rounds of frisbee golf, hiking from the property to expansive views, and crabbing from the dock. The rental was exactly as advertised, and Dennis and Lynna were very thoughtful, responsive hosts.

Kevan's home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is lots of seating, indoors and out making it a great place for our family to hang out together. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all appliances function well. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. The standout is the spectacular garden. A true oasis. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Lisa

The Innlet Hideaway is one of our favorite places to stay, definitely 5 star. We very much enjoyed this peaceful oasis overlooking the water. We loved to sit out on the deck watching the wildlife whilst sipping on some local cider. Very comfortable for sun worshipers and also for those who like the shade as they have good size umbrellas which are easy to use. It's very spacious with inside and outside dining. The kitchen is well equipped. Just a short drive from the centre of Sechelt. The hosts were very accommodating on our check in and responded promptly. Would 100% recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's quaint, characterful, cozy cottage. The location, property, and home were charming, with lovely, mature landscaping, fields of grass, water view framed by trees, and a private little beach. The antique furniture, lace curtains, and multiple vases of fresh-picked flowers and greenery all added romantic touches. The master bed was very comfortable and Jennifer kindly customized the bedding to accommodate our feather allergy. Although the property is a compound with other cottages, the setting was extremely private both indoors and out, on account of the large lot, separate access, and screening of mature trees. The wi-fi was weak, so perhaps not the ideal location for working, but perfect for a romantic getaway!

Perfect couple's getaway spot on the Sunshine Coast! The cottage is beautiful - classic rustic design with all the modern amenities you would need. Steps away from the water on a smooth pebbled beach. We soaked up the peaceful sounds of nature and the sea from the porch every day. The property's landscaping is A+! We loved the gorgeous sunsets and dramatic tides (a novelty for Ontario folks!). If you want to feel connected to nature, while still being close enough to towns/Vancouver, this is the place to stay. We loved the easy access to magnificent mountainous hiking trails, and a boat tour out of Egmont (Princess Louisa Inlet is a must-see!). Every night wrapped with a sleep in verrry comfy bed, looking at the stars through the skylight. Stunning! Sue & Gil were fantastic hosts. Very responsive and helpful, and respectful of privacy on the property. We had such a wonderful stay in Halfmoon Bay! Can't wait to get back to this incredible region of BC.

This place was AMAAAAAAAAZING! Gorgeous, cute cottage. Beautiful.

This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! The gardens were beautiful and frequently visited by hummingbirds! The first evening we saw eagles above and orcas in the waters below. You could see the beauty - the mountains of Mt Baker and cascades (when clear) and the waters, the wild flowers. We ate many meals on the swinging seat which overlooked a field of flowers the evergreens and the sea. It was truly expansive in that you felt you could “see forever. “ The front of the cottage is all glass so you could see natures beauty, sunrise, sunsets from everywhere including the comfortable bed! We found great and beautiful places to hike, kayak. The town of Eastsound is close by with shops restaurants, and groceries. Linda is very nice - a responsive, communicative and helpful host giving us suggestions when we asked. We hope to come back!

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

We had a lovey stay. The Sweetwater distillery of theirs 200m away was an excellent experience as well. Rooms were just like the photo and clean. Great spot for a getaway. Not walking distance to Ganges or too much, but car or bike make it easily accessible. Very private, quiet and a great place to make your own for a while. Thank you Fiona.

It was lovely to wake up to beautiful views that only the San Juan islands can offer. We spent our 25th anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a better place!

Staying at the Bungalow on the Bay was really a treat. It is truly waterfront, in that the deck is directly over the water. It was fun watching all the boats load and unload at the boat launch. Tons of wildlife including seals, herons, eagles, Canada geese, and ubiquitous sea gulls. Short easy walk to some really good restaurants and the bakery. Janice was extremely helpful from booking through checkout. Place was super clean and very well stocked. Highest recommendation.

Wow, what can I say. Lindsay and Curtis have created a truly magical space with their cottage. We left with that relaxing feeling from being surrounded by trees and nature all weekend that I usually only get from camping. The cottage was so beautifully designed and decorated, and Lindsay and Curtis really thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need. My advice would be to bring some groceries with you so that you can stay in the cottage and surrounding nature for your entire stay! :) we only left to go see the Kinsol Trestle which is just down the road and is worth the trip if you haven't been. I enjoy seeing new places so I rarely say I would stay somewhere again, but this cottage is an exception :) we will definitely be back! Thanks again
