Vacation rentals with beach access in Galápagos Islands

I stayed at Tania's for one night and it was great for my needs. The rental is well located, and everything is accessible. The bakery and store downstairs open early for any requirements. All main restaurants are just a few blocks away. The unit is up a few flights of stairs which keeps bugs out of the unit. The portable a/c is an evaporative cooler, so be advised if you are sensitive to heat. Tania is a great host who was always quick with a reply to any question I had. Check in was easy and the unit is practical for a short stay. I would stay again, Thank you Tania!!

Very well kept place in the middle of most attractions at San Cristobal. Segundo and is wife Edith showed us our place and gave helpful information. They responded quickly whenever we needed anything. We asked them about travel agent to book tours and Edith’s sister Nayeli happened to work for a travel agency Galapagos Blue Sky. We were introduced to her. We got great advice and booked all our tours, ferries and inter island flight with her. We highly recommend this Airbnb if you plan to spend some time in San Cristobal.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment, which is in a central yet quiet location. The apartment was well equipped and the hosts were quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended!!

We stayed for 6 days and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding—Mr. Ernesto was very kind and always available to answer any questions. The house is in a great location, just 5 blocks from the port where all the tours depart. There are shops, restaurants, and everything you need nearby. It’s also close to Tortuga Bay, so you can walk there easily. Super well located! Everything was spotlessly clean: towels, sheets, and floors. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Mr. Ernesto kindly provided us with water, salt, oil, and other basics, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at home and I give it a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galápagos looking for comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Thank you for everything! We loved our stay at the Drake Inn - great service, right across the street from an amazing beach with iguanas. Great self-service bar and rooftop lounge with stunning views of the sea.

I stayed for a month and I loved it. Fantastic value for the money. Very kind and responsive hosts that will make sure that you are well taken care of. It’s a simple accommodation but you have everything you need - kitchen, WiFi, shower. I work online and I do a lot of video meetings. 90% of the time the internet was fine. A few times a bit slow and sometimes it dropped. But they always tried to resolve it quickly. They also washed my clothes for a tiny fee. The kitchen had sometimes tiny ants, so you have to be careful how you handle food. They immediately had products available to have them disappear but I didn’t mind them. They cleaned every week. I loved coming back to the clean place. The garden is sweet with the hammocks. The area is a little walk from the main area but I LOVED that because it meant that it was so calm and peaceful and I got my steps in. Wonderful accommodation, I will return.

The apartment is super cozy, spacious, and nicely decorated. It's located in the very center of Puerto Ayora, all the points of interest are within walking distance. The hosts are very friendly, proactive and willing to go an extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.

I wish we would’ve stayed at their place the entire time we were in San Cristobal. It was clean spacious had a kitchen, large refrigerator and the location couldn’t have been better. The outside patio was amazing and our host were the best host ever! If you get a chance to stay, I’d stay. It’s not the Ritz, but who needs the Ritz when you’re in paradise? It’s three floors up. It’s good exercise that’s how I look at it but if you have a problem with walking or climbing stairs, get a first floor place to stay.

The stay was great and chilled. Not a lot of interactions or communication with the host but he was responsive when needed. It would be good to consider having a weekly tidy up and cleaning of the room for long staying guests.

Asdru est un hôte très réactif et arrangeant, et la personne présente sur place facilement disponible en cas de besoin. Le logement est propre, grand (pour une famille de 4) et fonctionnel. Le quartier a peu d'intérêt mais calme. Il y a un mini market assez proche. Dans les points d'amélioration, il manque un distributeur d'eau potable et il n'y a pas d'air climatisé dans la chambre parentale. Le ventilateur est apprécié quoique bruyant.

Quelquefois, sur airbnb, on trouve des perles rares, celle-ci en est une. Le logement chez RONY et Ingrid est parfait. Très propre et une grande cuisine. Si vous avez lu le commentaire de la dame se plaignant qu’il n’y avait pas de climatisation, vous pouvez l’oublier, le logement est maintenant très bien climatisé. A distance de marche d’une crique où on trouve des lions de mer en quantité. Et à distance de marche d’un petit restaurant (lecocarpus), qui sert une excellente cuisine locale (le meilleur ceviche que j’ai mangé), pour 10$/personne. Et RONY peut vous aider à réserver le bateau pour Floreana. Coucher de soleil sur la mer en face de la chambre et on s’endort au son des vagues.

J’ai adoré être accueilli par des locaux. La ville est tellement petite que même si nous ne sommes pas situés au centre, le logement de Myrian est très proche. La chambre est très confortable et agréable. C’est très propre. Il y a parfois un peu de bruit mais c’est les bruits de la ville, des chiens qui aboient, de la musique du samedi soir, on s’y habitue vite. Toute la famille de Myrian est adorable, je la remercie tendrement de m’avoir accueilli chez elle.

Very nice, spacious clean room with a good location directly on the Malecon a very short walk away from all the restaurants and tour companies. When you step outside you can already see the see lions, which definitely is a plus. I got picked up from the airport. I‘d definitely stay here again if I ever find myself on San Cristobal again. Beautiful place to stay by the beach. Loved the sunsets and sea lions on the beach. Great location, can walk there from the ferry. Loads of good places to eat, Lucky's is a lovely local restaurant, very reasonably priced. We will stay again.

Excelente estadía. El lugar tiene todas las comodidades necesarias para un grupo familiar y la ubicacion es cercana a los principales puntos de la isla. Una opción recomendable, sin duda.

Muchas gracias a Pepo por una estancia estupenda. La casa contaba con todo lo necesario: agua potable, ducha caliente, cama cómoda, una cocina completa… también tenía aire acondicionado, aunque gracias a las mosquiteras se podía perfectamente abrir las ventanas para disfrutar de la brisa de la noche. Nos sentimos muy a gusto durante toda nuestra estancia, sobre todo porque estaba situada muy cerca tanto de playas como playa Mann o punta Carola, como del centro del pueblo. Gracias en especial a nuestro host Pepo, que estuvo siempre dispuesto a brindarnos recomendaciones y consejos. Todo un gusto! Hasta la próxima y gracias!!

Javier (host) was the best part about our stay. His kindness and amazing hospitality made us feel right at home. His breakfasts and freshly made coffee just took the stay here to another level. The place is nice and close to downtown Santa Cruz. Highly recommend! It is also very very safe.

This is the second time we've stayed in Sahara's Airbnb. It is a 5 minute stroll to the pier. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay and a great patio to dry clothes or enjoy a nice glass of wine. We hope to return again!

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!
