Carriage House on the Rock is a two minute walk to Westwood Lake Park that offers world-class mountain bike trails and hiking. A cozy one bedroom carriage house that is fully appointed. A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

The Captain's Quarters at The Old Dorm

Welcome to The Captain's Quarters at Bowen Island's historical Old Dorm. We are just a short 8 minute walk from the ferry, restaurants and shops in the main Village of Snug Cove. Bowen has some great beaches as well, and we are just a short walk to both Pebbly and Sandy Beach. The Elegant bathroom has a large soaker tub, and a separate stand alone shower. Hidden Retreat

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
