My wife Ida is an artist and much of her signature you find on walls and even in the ceiling. The house is fully restored with great comfort. Lovely patio with garden furniture and covered outspace.Beautiful wiew over the Hardanger fjord and glacier Folgefonna. There are three bedrooms and an additional loft with four mattresses. There are beach right in front of the house, boat included. Fishing in the sea, rivers and lakes. Close to the mountains with so many walks. Near by peaks above 1000 m. Discover the beautiful small farm villages in the Kvam Mountains. Well, easily accessible skiing in winter. Close to the summer ski center Folgefonna glacier. Quiet and peaceful location away from the main thoroughfare. "The Post Office" The old post office is furnished with kitchenette, bathroom, living room with two "sofa beds" and a loft with mattresses. Private secluded terrace. Suitable for 2 adults + + There is a grocery store 1,2 km from the place. You reach Strandebarm by your own car or by bus. The distance from Bergen is 100 km, 1,5 hours drive. Go for the best Norwegian fjord experience in this historical and authentic environment. During the summer from the 22nd of June and to the end of August we rent out the house week by week from Saturday to Saturday.

Here you live peacefully with your own swimming area right below, if you like to jump right into the fjord. You can also try your luck at fishing and grill what you might catch. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay – perfect for a couple or two friends. Preferably with a four-legged friend. Short distance by car to hiking destinations such as Folgefonna (7 km), Dronningstien(80 km) and Trolltunga (56 km).

Great cabin on Varaldsøy overlooking Hardangerfjorden and Folgefonna glacier. The cabin has a sauna, and a large and sunny terrace. Registered fishing company for tourist fishing. Possibility of renting a boat for fishing, about 300 meters to the berth. One of two identical cabins for rent. There are great beaches on the island, and many nice mountain hikes you can go on. The cabin has three bedrooms, two with double beds, and one with a family bed and a bunk bed. Bed linen and towels can be rented if desired. You can drive to the door.

Exit from the living room to a large terrace overlooking nature. 2nd floor: Four bedrooms. 2x double beds, 1x single bed, children's room with 2x beds and 1x 160 cm bed. Extra beds possible for more than 10 guests. NOK 500 for each extra bed.

Stabbur in Kvinnherad at Gjermundshamn/Røyrane

Small cabin at Røyrane, by Kvitebergsvannet, freshwater fishing and free boat. Great hiking terrain, and exciting old mining areas. All rights by the water and the farm, Here you can swim and fish, or relax. The cabin is located about 1.5 hours from Trolltunga, about 1 hour to Folgefonn ski center or a small ferry ride across Hardangerfjorden to Rosendal where you can visit the Barony or take a trip to the top of the mountain Melderskin. The place is about 1.5 hours from Bergen/Flesland airport.

Alone In The Woods With Your Own River Nearby

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. KG14-16 is a stunning historic penthouse property in the absolute hearth of Bergen City, overlooking the beautiful "Lille Lungegaardsvann". The flat is fully equipped with two main bedrooms w. double-beds, an additional double-bed in the large open-attic / loft over the living-area, as well as a separate bed in the second open-attic / loft. Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Welcome in my hut by the lake :-) Here you can enjoy the peace of nature, go fishing, hiking, sit on the terasse or simply read a book. Bergen is 30 min drive by car, bus availabe 1 km walk from the house. I speak English, German and Norwegian.

Cabin 3 at Vikinghaug. The view from the mini cabin is amazing. You look straight out to the water, mountains and waterfall. This is a peaceful area that provides peace of mind. The cabin is handmade and a lot of timber has been used. Something is also reused. On the property there is also a wood-fired sauna and a hot tub. To use this amenity, you can contact the host or go to the reception to book. There is an additional charge.
