"ON THE ROCKS CABIN" the perfect getaway for 2!

RozaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Location is beautiful. Cabin is perfectly simple and thoughtfully supplied. We loved the decks, the birds, the creek and rain sounds. We had a point of confusion on check in and Susan was responsive and kind. We both very much hope we can visit again.

Mussers' Old Post Office Suite Lancaster County PA

JessicaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
If you want a unique and beautiful experience near Lancaster, look no farther than Barbara's place. My family and I stopped for the night as we were passing through and Barbara was so accommodating! First off, getting to stay in what used to be the town post office and general store was such a gem of a find! Barbara was on hand to tell us all about the history and renovations . I found it all fascinating. Secondly, Barbara has made this place very homey and inviting. I was relaxed just being there and hearing the clip clop of Amish buggies driving by. The garden and home are all beautiful and peaceful. Barbara has a recommended walk that we did with a map that highlights which farms are Amish and takes you into the holly countryside. I left wishing I could have stayed longer! Book it!

The place is very attractive. We really enjoyed the air fryer that allowed making meals quickly. The decorations are new and fresh. Kate was very helpful and pleasant. Only drawback was cars driving fast. Lots to do nearby. Dogs were welcome.

Naomi's property is beautiful, sparkling clean, peaceful, and close to so many beautiful towns and farms in the heart of Amish country . the fire pit area and the creek running along the property were great places to just sit and enjoy! There's plenty of room in the cabin, great bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with a grill outside if you'd like to cook there, plenty of seating in living area with extra throws to snuggle up in front of the fireplace with one of the many excellent books she has available for reading. We loved everything about this very unique property in Pennsylvania. Thank you Naomi and family! It was wonderful enjoying your property and meeting your family!

The Butcher Shop

KrystleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Butchers Shop was beautiful, set right in Amish county. We were close to Lancaster, Bird in Hand and Ronks areas and also a quick trip to Maryland. If you love to cook you will adore the kitchen that is there and it is well stocked. The shower room was very unique and it was so nice to have the toilet separate. The property was quiet at night and hot tube was very clean. The care taker for the property lives within steps of your back door if you need anything and was a pleasure to talk with and had great local recommendations.
