This is the PERFECT place to arrive at after landing in Jamaica. Friendly and helpful, Orlando has a genuine intention to keep everybody happy, safe, with a feeling of being at home. His local knowledge and openness to help and tale you to places is great! And you will definitely get the right taste of Kingston Jamaica! Also EXCELENTE chef… the corns… WOW! Happy I found this place and will return one day 🙏🏽

Breathtaking views from every angle. Extremely peaceful, the room was lovely and spacious. Had an attached balcony. All was well cleaned and felt very at home. Be sure to have a high risen vehicle, the roads to reach the location are extremely rough. Just be sure to follow the signs, don’t be shy to ask a local for directions!

We loved Katawud Camping and would gladly return. We were made very welcome by Michelle and Nicholas, and nothing was too much trouble. When the rains came down our tents were dry under a tarpaulin, and the communal area was spacious, with use of the kitchen. Set in an idylic location. There is an occasional bus up and down from Port Antonio for you to buy food, or you can take a taxi. Wifi worked most if the time and was quickly reinstated after acpower cut. A delightful experience.

Initially we had trouble finding the location however Denise was very responsive with a wonderful and positive energy. With her help as well as the help of locals in the area we were able to find it no problem. Check in was smooth, the host as well as the helper on site Craig was super super friendly and helpful. We were greeted with fresh coconut water and jelly and was encouraged to help ourselves to the Jamaican apple tree right on the property. The cabin was spacious and beautiful, with gorgeous views of Portland both day and night. This cabin definitely made my boyfriend and I fall in love with Portland, we initially planned to stay one night but booked an additional night just to enjoy the nature and views a little longer. We even woke up at 5am to enjoy the view of the sunrise from our veranda. This will definitely be our go to spot in Portland now, we felt right at home! I have no complaints and can’t wait to be back soon.

Staying at Marie’s was the highlight of our trip! Her place was so perfect, very clean and well organised. It was a short walk from the centre of Port Antonio so it was extremely easy to find restaurants, ATM and taxi. We loved how close we were to everything yet hidden in a quiet road with friendly neighbours. We would walk onto the main road and immediately see the sea! Marie was incredibly helpful and responsive, hospitality was so natural to her. We felt safe and free to come and go as we please with our private entrance and outdoor kitchen. I didn’t think I could love Portland even further ! Would absolutely stay again.

This is one of the most beautiful experiences I've had in all my years of travelling. I arrived solo and getting here was a bit of a challenge, but AK and Troopa have been super responsive and helpful the whole time. I have been to a few parts of Jamaica before, especially Negril and Montegobay were overwhelming and touristy and then I came here and felt like it was another world. So peaceful and beautiful, the people are so nice. You feel like you really experience the real Jamaica. Troopa has been the BEST host, I truly felt at home at his place and can honestly say I have gained a good friend. He showed me around, cooked some delicious food and even took me to a local party. He gave me the full experience of true Jamaican culture and I could not be more grateful. His place is also beautiful, with amazing views of the sea from the room and terrace and just a 2 minute walk to the beach that I had to myself most of the time. His sister in law also cook amazing food in her restaurant.

This place is so incredibly magical and beautiful and it's perfect if you are looking for nature, wellness and serenity. I enjoyed my stay so much at Mudita...(I was not ready to leave!!). The first morning I had coffee while sitting in the grass and looking at the ocean and then in the evening sat just below the cabin looking at the mountains. You will be surrounded by so much nature and beautiful energy here. The Cabin itself is very cozy with windows all around to capture the beautiful scenery outside. Also, the bed was very comfortable.... and this is a big plus for me!! Overall, I truly loved my stay and I will definitely be coming back to visit.
