Holiday home escape surrounded by horses

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Set in a beautiful equestrian centre. Thoughtful touches throughout accommodation including reading lights, blankets, fully equipped kitchen. Excellent communication. The enclosed garden was perfect for letting our puppy off lead - completely safe. The lounge was spacious, plenty of sofa space and a dining table. Just 10 minutes drive into Llangollen. Highly recommend.

Alma Cottage, Froncysyllte, Llangollen Canal.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The host was very cool. The location is perfect for exploring North Wales, with easy access to Chirk Castle, Llangollen, and Powis Castle, all of which are highly recommended. While the bathroom might feel a bit tight for elderly guests, the overall comfort of the cottage made up for it. The valley view was obscured by trees and bushes during our stay. Otherwise, a great base for a North Wales getaways.

Accommodation near Llangollen

HarryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very peaceful location, spent hours in the garden listening to nothing but faint animals sounds in the distance. It was very calming and private. Inside was perfect. No issue with anything very comfortable all round. Short drive to a village nearby and 20 minute drive to a larger town with plenty of things to do there. I couldn’t believe that all the reviews on this listing are five stars but now i can see why. We really want to stay again.

3 room/10 beds - Arts&Crafts house nr Chirk Castle

SoniaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!
