Barmouth Plas Mynach Lodge Holiday Cottage

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed over the half term with two young children. It was easy to find and in a very good area. Walkable to the beach/main area of Barmouth if you cut through a woodland which you can get to down some steps just off the main road. The house was very beautiful, cosy and clean. The kids loved all the little nooks and the cottage features. The blackout blinds were a nice touch in the bedrooms with two young children who like to wake early. There was a lot of equipment in the kitchen and some board games and outside games in the shed which was lovely. Jeremy was extremely helpful when recommending child friendly places to eat in the area and things to do, very quick to respond. There’s a nice farm and caverns about 20 minutes drive away easy to get to, and you can also drive to Porthmadog and visit Portmeirion about 40 minutes away. The location was amazing yet felt very peaceful. We just wish we could have stayed longer and had better weather! Thank you Jeremy

Pandy Farmhouse - Snowdonia's National Park

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ela and Matt were fantastic hosts; they were very helpful in getting us out of a pickle. Our car (not a 4x4) only just made it up the track on the first day and then struggled to make it up the next day in the wet. However, Ela and Matt came and sorted us out (helped us get the car back down) and we walked up the track for the remainder of the stay. They even gave us a lift down with our stuff on the last day. This is a lovely place in a beautiful area. Well-equipped, spacious, yet cosy. If we went again we'd probably hire a 4x4 in order to get up the track. Would thoroughly recommend staying here in any case.

Barmouth Beach Front Apartment Spectacular Seaview

KatieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at this lively seaside apartment in Barmouth, even though both of my children unfortunately came down with a nasty sickness bug soon after we arrived. We ended up spending most of our time indoors, so it was a relief that the apartment was such a clean, modern, and comfortable place to be. The sea view was a pleasant bonus — not dramatic, but still a nice sight to wake up to and a reminder that the beach was just a short walk away. If you noticed bin bags over the pot plants — that was a quick bit of baby-proofing to stop our youngest from munching on the decorative stones! Despite the unexpected illness, we were really grateful for a well-kept and cosy base. Would love to return under healthier circumstances!

The Cosy Pad Snowdonia

A magical place . So peaceful . Wonderful views. The garden was beautiful , I am sure Pixies live there amongst the bluebells. Being bereaved , I felt safe being on my own and it was a warm cosy cottage as described. Well thought out accomodation with all you need and a comfy bed ! They thoughfully provided bread and butter and milk essentials ( including Welsh cakes 😋) which was welcome with no shop in walking dustance . They will do anything to help and communicated promptly when needed. I will love to return as soon as poss.

Lovely place with an amazing view. Amanda is very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Bottle of prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and enough wood for the weekend for the hot tub! Thank you x

Amazing sea/mountain view-beach 10 minute walk

CarolineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful week in Karen’s cosy bungalow with our 3 year old daughter Willow. It was truly stunning. The views of the beach, the sea and the mountains are breathtaking. We saw an amazing sunset from the garden six out of our seven nights there. The bungalow was spotless and we received a lovely welcome hamper and some delicious cheese on our arrival. The bed linen was so soft. Karen is such a lovely host and gave us clear instructions on how to find the bungalow and answered questions straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Karen’s bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She even came to say hello just before we went home. We have already booked for the sane week next year.
