The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet room, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train leaves for the beautiful city of Groningen. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. However, after a busy day, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather, use the BBQ. Everything is available for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

Experience unique glamping in Barlt with “De Olle Uhlhoff” – an 18 m² barrel for 2 guests. Inside, you’ll find a bedroom with seating and sleeping arrangements. The private bathroom is in the main house, while an eco-toilet is right next to the barrel. Wi-Fi and a coffee machine are available in the breakfast room. A washing machine can be used on request. There’s a small fridge in the accommodation. Breakfast can be booked on site and is available for an extra fee.

Located in Barlt, the holiday apartment 'Das Eulennest' on the upper floor offers you everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation consists of a living room with a sofa bed for one person, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom, and can accommodate up to six people. Amenities also include a washing machine. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. Breakfast can be booked on site for an additional fee.
