The most beautiful place, exceeding all expectations. The views are spectacular. We breathed in peace and tranquility. A fabulous place to celebrate my 80th birthday with the whole family -- 16 of us. Everyone was comfortable in the space. In addition to being the perfect host, Samantha provided surprise extras which was such fun! Just a few of the highlights: S'mores at the firepit, lobster dinners, seals, bald eagles and fireworks. She made our stay truly memorable. My family gives the place the highest recommendation.

This house has a beautiful view of the lake!! The complementary water activity’s are worth booking!! We enjoyed our stay and will come back!! Make sure to walk out on the dock at night and look at the stars!!

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

We had a great two nights here and enjoyed the hot soak and the sauna. It was near many amenities and also felt very removed. Matt’s was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our stay was perfect and the escape we hoped it would be.

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eddie’s house. It was so clean and inviting. The house has so much character. The view of the lake was great. We would definitely book again.

Absolutely loved our stay here! If you're someone who enjoys being close to nature and traveling with your dog, this place is perfect. The surroundings are peaceful and green. Fabiola was super friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The house rules were clear and straightforward, which made the whole experience stress-free. We felt really welcomed and comfortable the entire time. All in all, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

Anna was incredibly communicative and her place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. We especially loved her two little greeter cats!

We had a fantastic time at this cute and cozy cottage! It’s within 15 minutes of basically anything in the Portland area and the cottage itself is so charming and inviting. We only wish we had planned to stay here longer!

We had a great stay! The house is very nice with a view of the bay and the screened in porch was an great place to be outside but away from the bugs. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the house had everything we needed with appropriate notes in all the right places.

We felt right at home at LInda's place. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and there is plenty of space. Everything was spotless. Having a washer and dryer really made a difference. The cottage is close to a busy road so there was some road noise outside, but in the cottage it was quiet and peaceful. Linda is very friendly and helpful and had put out welcome muffins for us, which was such a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

Alana's home was more than we expected. The home was spotless and well equipped for our quick stay. She is very accommodating and responds to questions immediately. We would definitely stay again if we're in her area.

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Liz and Alex’s stunning place at the beginning of September. This was either my 3rd or 4th time and I love being there. The quiet and the utter peacefulness of being literally on the banks of the estuarial river is amazing. Although I was only able to be there for 2 nights this time, I was recharged and ready to go back home when I left. On other visits I’ve taken advantage of being near the delightful town of Damariscotta, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, Hidden Valley Nature Preserve, Muscongus Bay Lobster dock, the Audubon preserve in Bremen, and so many others. On this visit I stayed put, letting the inward and outward flow of the river soothe me while I read and wrote. On this visit I also had a nice long chat with Liz, a remarkably talented woman. See her book and ask about her films when you go.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Seaglass Cottage. From the moment we walked in, we were enchanted by the homey charm and solitude. As a grand finale, we were able to watch a northern lights show from the dock on our last night.

What an awesome airbnb! The views are stunning and surroundings couldn’t have been more peaceful. The cottage itself was exceptional and had everything I needed and more. Wish I could've stayed there longer! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

Dianne’s place was a quintessential Maine cabin with all the right feels that worked great for our family (kids ages 9, 7, & 4). The walk to the private beach became part of our morning and evening daily routine. We loved climbing the rocks, exploring the shore, listening to the quiet, trying to spot wildlife, and wondering at the stars. The location was great, with plenty of family friendly activities- The Happy Clam restaurant was awesome for kids with a playground outside, Marshall Pt. Lighthouse to explore, Camden to walk around, Mt. Battie to hike, fresh water lake swimming at Barrett’s Cove, American Flatbread for dinner with outside kids games, Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse with a mile long jetty walk out, Owls Head Lighthouse to explore, Owls Head General Store for lunch outside (burger rated #1 in Maine - worth it) & Crescent Beach for ocean swimming. We had a beautiful time here- breathing in nature and experiencing the beauty of coastal Maine.

A really enjoyable stay at this nice house in a peaceful location. House had everything we needed and provided a great base from which to explore the Bristol (and wider) area - a good location for walking and coastal visits! Susan and Steve were very helpful, as was their welcome booklet detailing local attractions, walks, restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend.

Our time with Jeff was exactly what we needed. My high school daughter and I came up to Maine for a few days to visits college and enjoy some hiking and local food. Cottage #6 was a great, centralized place for it! Like others have mentioned, the lofted bed area is for those who can handle a low-ceiling--turned out perfect for my daughter. The kitchen is modestly furnished with dishes, utensils, and appliances, but we were never in want of anything. The bedroom double-functions as the living room, so if you might look elsewhere if you're looking for privacy in all circumstances. Cottage#6 has room for one car in a parallel parking situation in front; it requires a very short walk uphill that everyone but the impaired can easily handle. The place was clean, accommodating, and the check-in/check-out procedures were convenient. Jeff was always quick to respond to our communications. Would enjoy staying here again!

The cottage is amazing! Great little getaway. Pay attention to the host’s instructions, and make sure you bring your provisions. Recommend biking/hiking to Fine Sand Beach. Could have spent an entire day there. Fresh lobster sold at the co-op. Don’t expect Tim’s (the market) to have much in way of food drink. Also, the transfer station isn’t open every day, so you might need to bring it back to Bar Harbor transfer station. Again, LOVED it and will definitely come back.
