Kid-friendly vacation rentals in French Polynesia

Très beau logement à l'agencement atypique, on s'y sent tout de suite très à l'aise, les hôtes sont accueillants et sympathiques, le cadre, idéalement situé sur la presqu'ile, est exceptionnel. Dépaysement assuré dans ce petit havre de paix au bord de mer ! Pour les lève-tôt, mention spéciale pour le lever de soleil, tout simplement magnifique.

Le logement de Chris a répondu grandement à nos attentes. Propriétaire occupant l'étage de la maison, très délicat et discret, nous laissant l'usage de l'espace avec piscine en privé. Logement très spacieux et agréable, donnant sur la piscine et vue sur l'océan. Une vue à couper le souffle et imprenable sur Morea, cet emplacement est simplement exceptionnel. La chienne nous a adoptés de suite, elle est adorable, présente mais pas gênante. Nous recommandons sans réserve la maison de Chris et sa compagne.

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s Airbnb for three nights. Marco is a very friendly and kind host. His home had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We brought enough groceries to last our stay and barely left the island. Several times we walked around to the other side of the island to snorkel in the channel and coral gardens between the two Motus. We saw sharks and rays as well as a huge assortment of tropical dish. The rays will even swim up to you and eat out of your hand. We brought a picnic and ended up sharing our ham with the friendly rays that would swim up to you at the water’s edge to be hand fed. What a cool experience! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and authentic Tahitian experience.

We loved our stay in this beautiful villa. Alain was such a kind and helpful host! The home is very clean and well equipped. The view is absolutely spectacular across the bay. The balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunrises and end the day as the sunset lights up the sky. The pool area is beautiful as well and it is so nice to have a refreshing area to cool off. We really enjoyed having a car available to rent at the home. The kayaks were an added bonus. We saw a turtle, eagle ray and shark along with many beautiful fish during our morning kayak. We can’t wait to come back!

La vue sur Moorea est tout simplement magnifique, le logement est très propre et Didier sait répondre à vos attentes Hôte chaleureux nous recommandons n’hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçus Un petite chose pour accéder au logement il est préférable d’avoir une voiture ou un scooter au delà de 125cm3 car le logement se trouve sur les hauteurs

Die Unterkunft befindet sich unmittelbar am Strand. Man hat einen eigenen Zugang und eine erhöhte Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Strand und das Meer. Wie beschrieben, ist die Unterkunft sehr offen gestaltet. Das muss man mögen. Gerade nachts ist dadurch alles sehr hellhörig. Wichtig zu betonen, dass die Mücken nicht so schlimm sind, wie vermutet, obwohl ich sonst immer starke Probleme habe. Der Mückenschutz über dem Bett ist dennoch sehr hilfreich. Unutea ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir wurden nett empfangen und sie hat uns direkt angeboten, uns zum naheliegenden Supermarkt zu fahren. Ihr liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen.

I booked in for a month long writing retreat and I had the most special time along the way. Wendy is the definition of manaaki – a kupu Māori from home that feels the only accurate description of Wendy. It was lovely getting to meet her whānau in snippets too. My stay felt homely and as if I gained a second mum 😅 I was very sad to leave but I know I’ll be back for a stay or at least a visit either way. To anyone else who may have hesitancies re: birds, they were delightfully charming. I arrived with a childhood phobia of farm/larger birds. By the end, I had given them all pet-names and informed my partner we’ll be getting chickens 🦚🐓

Une des meilleures expériences ! Le lodge est situé au pied du mont Rotui, la vue est sublime. C’est très calme, conforme en tout point à la description. Propre, fonctionnel, proche des commerces. Il faut une voiture évidemment, l’option proposée par David est une excellente alternative aux loueurs habituels, tarif compétitif et voiture propre et passe partout. La découverte de l’île sera plus facile avec une voiture évidemment. David est un hôte extrêmement sympathique, il est réactif, donne de très bons conseils sur les restaurants, commerces mais aussi les us et coutumes locales, il sera toujours prêt à faire en sorte que votre séjour à Moorea soit parfait. Merci David pour ce moment, toujours trop court quand on est bien quelque part. Bonne continuation et à bientôt peut-être !

Had a great stay with Marc! He is very prompt and his place is well located. The kayaks are a great perk for evening sunsets! Things to note: Private and secure apartment Well maintained (apartment and grounds) Bed is firm but not too solid Humidity is managed well, no mold inside the apartment You have everything you need for two people About the island: Roosters are everywhere and are constantly confused as to what time it is Water is drinkable and electricity is well supplied

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. L’appartement est fonctionnel, très agréable et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La situation est idéale, facile d’accès, vue imprenable sur Mooréa, et les commodités (roulottes etc) juste à coté. Rien à redire également sur l’accueil et la conciergerie.

Marrva est une hôte très disponible Le logement correspond fidèlement au descriptif Maeva a été très accommodante Seul les coqs troublent un peu le calme nocturne mais c’est peut être le charme caché de Papeete

The settings and the grounds where very peaceful and charming. The staff were very friendly and owner was very hospitable. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment were available. The breakfast was great and more than enough for us. The location was very nice, and having the grocery store right next door was a lot of help. My daughter really liked the friendly dog on the premise and she would like to visit again. I would highly recommend the place.

Appartamento molto bello, pulito e ordinato. Elettrodomestici di ottima qualità e tutto il necessario per godersi la vacanza. Piscina grande con vista fantastica, le host gentilissime!

Comfortable apartment with an incredible view. AC in all rooms was much appreciated, as was the balcony. Convenient distance to the airport and downtown, but a rental car is recommended as it’s on top of a steep hill and too far to be truly walkable.

Thanks to Alain and Maryse to have made our 3 days great and peaceful. Their house is located in the right area and very closed from everything. Nice beach, nice restaurants. Alain will give you the best tips for the restaurants and roulottes-) thanks again. Would love to come again

Super logement, c'est propre, il y a beaucoup d'équipements et de qualité! coussin et matelas très confortable! Et bien-sûr la clim Je le trouve pas super bien placé, il faut une voiture car pas beaucoup de trottoir et pas mal de circulation, d'ailleurs l'hôte propose une voiture à la location pour pas chère! Très content et merci encore!

Un AirBnB super pratique à quelques minutes à pieds du centre et du port de Papeete. Le bâtiment est tout récent et l’appartement est lumineux et dispose de tous les équipements pour rendre le séjour agréable. Un grand merci à Gaëlle pour sa disponibilité et tous les conseils sur Papeete et la région.

It's very clean and modern. The view and pool are highlights. It's in a gated community up on a hill, so it's quiet with no street noise. We had our two year old son with us and he loved the pool and the balcony.

Just got home from 4 days here and we had a wonderful time. The location is great. Close to the airport and great beaches. The view from the balcony is worth it!! More than enough space for the two of us. We appreciated the beach access, ocean view, close location to a couple restaurants and a grocery store. The unit felt safe and quiet. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking.

Super séjour chez John. Très bon rapport qualité prix. John a su nous conseillé des très bons restaurants et roulottes du coin. Les plus belles plages sont à proximité. Emplacement parfait! L’appartement est très bien et fonctionnel. Nous nous sommes même vu offrir des glaces de chez les Sorbets de Moorea! (Gros coup de cœur pour saveur noix de coco 🥥) Bref, nous recommandons!
