House vacation rentals in Freeport

I would absolutely stay here again! The check-in process was smooth, and Michael was incredibly flexible and responsive to any questions we had. The directions to the property were clear and easy to follow. Although we didn't cook while we were there, the place had everthing you would need to host. The house comfortably accommodated all six of us for the night, and since the weather was beautiful, we spent much of our time enjoying the stunning backyard. The entire setup was absolutely perfect—couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Beautiful Airbnb! Everything in the Airbnb was very well thought out. The host was super nice and always quick to respond. My only regret was not spending more time here!

Had a quick weekend getaway at Keith's place. Everything was perfect. Easy check in and great communication.

We had a wonderful stay in Angela’s beautiful home. It had great amenities, was super clean, and had everything we needed. Loved the pool and fire pit. The kitchen was roomy for cooking too. 5 stars!

Cute place. Everything we needed was available. Bed was comfortable as well as pull out couch. Enough towels and linen available. Very clean. Will stay again.

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

We had a magical getaway for the weekend! We watched a porcupine forage around the yard both evenings from the hot tub. We named him “Steve”. We loved the walk down to the river and enjoying sunrise from the hot tub with coffee. We will definitely be back!

Great house! Very spacious, plenty of bathrooms, and fantastic location. Very easy to communicate with the owners and check in/out was simple. My minor only critique is that we wish the grill were a bit bigger and nicer. We wanted to grill one day, but we were a little disappointed and unable to do so due to the grill quality. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay! Comfortable, peaceful and amazing location. Lots of space we felt right at home and our dog loved going for walks in the yard. We look forward to staying again!

Very nice rustic cabin, convenient location to Brunswick. Our stay was in mid-October, and we knew there was no heat, only space heaters - unfortunately got into the low 30s at night and we were very cold. Grateful for the many blankets! The two beds are not full twins, more like 24” beds; it was ok for our small teenager. Well water. Nice location and would go back in warmer weather! Very responsive host.

Great place for a group to stay. Very quiet and had a great view of the Northern Lights. Near a state park with great hikes and views. When the power went out for the area the host was very responsive and did their best to help.

Alina was a great host and the place is beautiful and had everything we needed and was exactly as described.

We were in town on a road trip and had to unexpectedly move into a new Airbnb; Anne was immediately responsive, kind and flexible and welcomed us to her home with such short notice. Even despite no notice, the home was spotless, cozy and beautiful. The beds were so comfy, and it was the most beautiful home for children. My two homeschool and were able to take their virtual classes on the set desks. The neighborhood was beautiful, peaceful and close to so much despite it all — we loved downtown Portland and Cape Elizabeth. Absolutely perfect location. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Freeport with our two young children and had a wonderful experience. The house provided lots of space, and we were able to use the in-law suite as a quiet home office. There was lots to do within Freeport as well as the surrounding area, including easy trips to Portland. We found a great trail app and explored the walking trails in the area. Our kids liked being able to bike and hike right from the house.

We had a great stay! Everything was exactly as described and Ian was very responsive.

Central location, but was surprisingly very quiet and private. Kelsey is an excellent communicator and host.

Violeta and her space were amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home for our long weekend. We are looking forward to making this a yearly visit!

We can’t say enough good things about this stay. We came for our honeymoon, and were met with flowers and a few other treats from the host as a gift. How sweet! As far as the property, the cottage is perfectly sized for two or three, and is designed delightfully. It is on a shared lot with the family’s primary residence , but feels very comfortable and private. A close by walk to the water as well. Inside, you will find everything you could ever need from pots and pans, spices, towels, and the best recommendations for the area. We’d build our own version of this cottage to take home with us if we could. We hope to one day be back and will always remember our amazing time in Harpswell.

Beautiful, well-appointed home. All the little things add up to a stress-free experience. Fully stocked with towels, cooking supplies, even q-tips if you forget your own! By far the cleanest, most comfortable AirBNB I've stayed in. Photos don't do justice to the view from inside and from the patio. Incredibly quiet at night and the feeling of seclusion helped recharge my batteries. Super clear directions and entry instructions. Nothing beats dinner or wine by the firepit overlooking the bay except for the sunrise over the water. Would 100% stay again.

Very clean and Host was very responsive, the setting matched the description 100%. Peceful sleeping with the water hitting the beach and the call of the Loon heard throughout the night. Can’t wait to return another day!!

Loved the layout of the house. Great kitchen and master bedroom. Master bath a little cramped. Enjoyed the view and outdoor seating.

Here’s anCarley's home was wonderfully equipped with all the essential amenities to make my stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee (with filters!) and a well-stocked kitchen, which made the space feel warm and homey rather than like a typical hotel. During my visit, it snowed, and Carley had everything I needed to stay safe, including a shovel and rock salt to keep the steps clear. The extra blankets were a cozy bonus that I truly appreciated on chilly nights. The home is situated in a quiet, charming neighborhood with convenient access to nearby stores, making it an ideal home base for visiting family in the area. Highly recommend!
