RUSTIC-no running water! cabin perfect for exploring all mid-coast Maine has to offer: 3 hours from Boston or Acadia, 1 hour to Portland and Maine’s gorgeous beaches. 10-30 minute drive to Hiking, swim spots, farm-stands, nationally recognized dairy farms, breweries, restaurants. 5 minute walk from a pickleball court. Stargaze in the hammock by campfire, Grill dinner, check out local tide charts to float in canoe or kayak on the Eastern river. Wood fired oven can be rented for additional fee.

Jewett Pond Retreat

Relax in the Western Maine Foothills at our cabin on Jewett Pond. The main cabin has 672 sq ft of finished living space with bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, basic kitchen, great room (queen sleeper sofa), and screened porch. There is an additional rustic bunkhouse with two twin beds. This space is ideal for a couple or adventurous family who enjoys swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, or sitting on the screened porch with a good book and pine forest backdrop. Canoe included with booking.

Winter or summer, the Little River Retreat will help you step away from the world - but still be minutes from Reid State Park, Five Islands Lobster, the Georgetown General Store, and the rugged beauty of Midcoast Maine. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. We love the unique charm of this space and place, and many repeat guests do too. We hope you will treasure (and care for it) as we do!

Nestled in the woods and on Adams Pond next to a small farm. The cabin feels totally hidden away but is less than 10 minutes to Bridgton and Naples, hiking, beaches and restaurants. The woods are beautiful and peaceful and the pond is just down a gorgeous mossy path. Great for couples or a weekend away. Large deck with grill and outdoor shower, firepit. There is a dock on the pond for swimming, fishing, or just enjoying the view as well as a canoe and 2 kayaks, and a paddle board!

Steps away from the center of Harrison and 2 boat launches, and only a short drive from downtown Bridgton. If you'd like a hike or bike instead, it's also a short drive to the mountains. Bailiwick Cottage is a cozy, private cottage that looks south down Freeport (Harraseeket) Harbor in Freeport, ME. It is a 4 season accommodation that is close to Freeport shopping, Portland eating, and the Adventure Schools of LL Bean. The cottage sits approximately 50 yards from our main house, has its own parking space and patio, and offers the ability to come and go as you wish. We have had 12 honeymoons in the cottage. In the winter months, ride your snowmobile right from the driveway, take a brewery tour in Portland, head to the White Mountains, or just watch the river go by. Cornish, Maine is just 12 minutes away and has plenty of dining and shopping opportunities.
