Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Franklin County

We rented Kristina's place for a hiking trip, and enjoyed it a lot. The surrounding area is beautiful, there's lots to do and we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodging was as described, the photos are accurate, and the views are STUNNING. Watching the weather over the mountain range out the big picture window was GREAT. The kitchen is large, and well furnished. The main dining room table is big enough to play board games, the hot tub is well maintained and easily held 4 adults, the deck is lovely. Beds were comfy. One minor issue, the shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working. We contacted Kristina and the owner was there within maybe 30-60 minutes to address the issue. He gave us a temporary solution and that worked fine for the long weekend. We had a great time and would stay again!

This home is immaculate, thoughtfully maintained, and packed with amenities, far exceeding our expectations. Its prime location offers the best of both worlds: close to town yet nestled in a serene setting perfect for peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, it’s truly a stunning home in an incredible location!

Fantastic place to stay - very spacious, super clean and peaceful. Host was extremely responsive to any questions we had and very friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Been staying at various places in Lake Placid over the years. We had 6 adults and 2 infants. The place was exactly what I was looking for. It was cold outside and staying in the house for an entire day was very relaxing and comfortable. The fireplace was amazing! The hot tub was also a plus! Kitchen was well stocked and we were cooking daily! We had a good laugh guessing how many “bear” items were in the house. I challenge all future guests to take a guess. Make sure to include all bedrooms and bathrooms =) All in, it is a great place for family and friends to stay, we look forward to coming back in the future.

One word: amazing. This rental was unlike any other stay that I’ve booked, and I’ve stayed at a lot of places. An amazing and luxurious cabin in one of the most underrated areas in New York. From start to finish, Kathryn was available to aid with any issues, providing clear instructions and recommendations for what to do. The rental was maintained, well furnished, and provided so many views of the nearby mountains and trees, although there were a lot of dead and alive insects in the cabin, so do be aware of that. Sometimes I felt like just staying at the cabin rather than exploring (what I came to do, haha). I can say for sure this is one rental I hope to book again in the future. Thank you Kathryn

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

Just Book this place! My review follows all the past positive reviews. This place is awesome for a winter hangout with all the privacy you want and a short scenic drive to Lake Placid. The views from the front deck are beautiful and the hot tub on the back deck is a great place to unwind after a playful day in the snow. So - just book this place if you are into enjoying life in the Adirondack Mountains. Thanks Richard & Jocelyn!

was in town for a wedding and so glad I choose this place! so cute and beautiful views

Great house at a great location. House was nice and warm despite the 0 degree weather with high winds. Driveway was maintained clear during 15” of snow. Great sledding on the property, ice fishing on the lake and cross country skiing on the rail trail that passes the house. Main floor and upper floor were great, lower level needs some TLC and the two lower level beds were very uncomfortable. No problem with the rest of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to gather on the main floor. Could use a larger table, plenty of room in the house for our group of 13 but not a big enough table for us to all eat at together (kitchen island provided most of the needed extra spots). Overall a great place at a great location.
