House vacation rentals in Fraccionamiento Altavela

Arguably one of the coolest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Great walkability to bustling downtown Vallarta below matched with an uncredible Birds Eye view of the bay and cityscape. The home was peaceful and refreshing after a long day in the heat. The hosts were staying in the other treehouse during our stay and treated us like personal friends. We will 100% be looking to stay here during our next trip to Mexico. This is THE PLACE. If you have a chance to stay here, don’t hesitate to book. 10/10 experience.

Good hosts, I would definitely come back

Phenomenal place that provides best of both worlds. The house is very cozy and located in a quit neighborhood at walking distance from downtown/beach ( 20 min). Close enough to walk, but away from the noise and crowds from town. The patio, open space and pool is great to live outside in a very confortable way. We use the pool a lot in the morning, coming back from the beach and before bedtime. Super relaxing and great to cool off. The amount of birds around the house singing was also a great treat. There is a house in construction in front of the property, there is noise coming from it, but it is not to bad. They tend to start later in the morning and were finished when we came back from the beach. Rene is also very helpful and reactive. Provided us all we needed in terms of support and info in a heartbeat. Overall, I really recommend this house, its location, set up and surroundings makes it the perfect spot. You’ll love it.

Absolutely loved our 5-night stay at Casa Rosa! It was the perfect spot to unwind, with stunning views and beautiful weather. The home looks exactly like the photos—if not better—and had everything we needed. Just a short, easy ride to great local restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again!

Everything is in very good clean condition, the house has very nice details, the pool is a 10. Joce was an excellent host.

The house is spectacular, it's worth every peso you pay, the photos, although the house looks beautiful, it's better when you see it, the pool is comfortable enough, the house is very spacious, many details, it has everything you need and more, of course I'll be back, very good location and good area. Wow, this house is beautiful. It is better than the pictures! We have some advise: 1. The infinity pool and back deck are on the equivalent of a 3rd story. The railings are Mexico code, and not suitable for small children unless very closely supervised. 2. Do not rent this house without the golf cart. The single lane cobblestone road to the house is incredibly steep and not walkable unless you are an Everest shirpa. If you rent a car, you had better be more skilled than an F1 driver. The rental rate for the golf cart was very reasonable. 3. The food in Salulita is better than you can imagine. 4. Use the transportation shuttle the host can arrange, it is stress free, private, and includes a stop at the grocery store on the way. Plan on a least an hour transport time to PVR. 5. Bring pesos, most places are cash. The AC on the house is amazing. The sound of the ocean at the house is spectacular. Highly recommend this place, we would stay here again!

I stayed with my wife and enjoyed the space. The pool was a bit cool on day 1 and the guy came the next morning to warm up the pool for us. The place was clean and it was easy to walk to the marina and enjoy the many restaurants. The AC worked great and having the full wall move to open the kitchen to that backyard was a great touch, we loved our morning coffee and the ease to spend the days in the house. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was great and the water pressure was nice. Having the 3 bathrooms worked well. The daily groundskeeper was good to chat with and explained the yard and garbage.

This is a very nice house in an interesting neighborhood, decorated in a truly Mexican fashion. Juan was great.

The place was very nice, we felt right at home, we didn't struggle at all, it had all the amenities in the description. We'd love to come back here. A great place 😊

We really enjoyed staying at Haddon and errands Place not only was it clean and beautiful and well designed but the view is magnificent we also enjoyed how clean the yard was and how easy it was access down even though it had the feeling of being absolutely private would definitely recommend staying here And are considering staying there again on our next trip! Thank you both!

Beautiful, large home for our family. The rooms were all master bedrooms with a private bath! The little kids loved the back yard pool. Kitchen was great, with everything you need. Like most Air BnB places, there were no spices or oil, but there is a large grocery store nearby. The beach was only a short walk away. It is in a really nice neighborhood, gated with a security guard at the gate. Francisco was great, and got to know us and look out for us. We felt very safe. The community pool was nice and uncrowded. Nice big beach / pool towels provided. It was a bit of a drive to areas south - Puerto Vallarta. Bucerias was a nice little town only 1.5 miles away that has restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful time! Negatives? The shower water was variable, but mostly cool to lukewarm, and the dishwasher works, but make sure you rinse the dishes thoroughly prior to loading. Minor issues. We would go back in a heartbeat. Great place to stay for a big group!

We had a good overall experience during our stay at the house, although there were some drawbacks that are worth mentioning. Upon arrival, several air conditioners were not working properly (in two rooms and in the living room), which affected us for three nights. In addition, one of them was pouring a lot of water. We also found a scorpion in one of the rooms and the pool was not cleaned during our entire stay. Apart from those details, we really enjoyed the house. The spaces are very nice and comfortable for family living. The location is excellent: close to beaches, restaurants, pharmacies and everything you need to get around easily. We greatly appreciate the attention of our co-host Kari, who was always available, looking for quick solutions and being very kind, even in the face of complications due to the rains. Despite the inconvenience, we spent very happy days as a family and we really appreciated the amenities and the atmosphere of the place.

I really appreciated this place—not just for how clean and well-kept it was, but also for the incredible value. It’s located in a local neighborhood, but the complex is gated, which made it feel extremely safe and secure. Everyone we encountered inside was friendly, and the security throughout the property gave us real peace of mind. During our stay, the internet wasn’t working, but this seemed to be an issue with the service provider, not the host. In fact, the host went above and beyond to try to resolve it. I actually had to leave early due to the internet issue, and the host was incredibly understanding and gracious about the situation. I’m leaving a five-star review not only because the place itself is a great option—especially for families looking for a safe, clean, and affordable environment—but also because the host was truly exceptional: accommodating, reasonable, and kind. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

It's very good, the area is very nice and well kept, the price is perfect, the beds are comfortable, you have to take into account that it is somewhat far from large supermarkets, although there is an Oxxo and pharmacy nearby.

Excellent option for a beach vacation, very practical to have the beach attached to the house as it is very comfortable for the whole family, a very quiet area ideal for rest, you can find all the amenities very close, in general very good option for a great vacation

I had a great trip to Puerto Vallerta and Luna's Airbnb was fantastic! You can walk to Playa Del Oro beach which I did each day but is also close to things like Malecón and Zona Romantica. I learned how to take the bus for 10 pesos but you can also use Didi or Uber. The apartment is very central but surprisingly quiet and peaceful. There are some restaurants closeby as well. Great place to stay in Puerto Vallerta, I would go back. Luna also has a coffeehouse + bar (and pizza) nearby. It's awesome!!

Super nice place, very safe, there are many restaurants and recreational places near my house, super clean and the pool is in very good quality. We loved it

it was perfect, just like the description, everything in order, everything they offered in their publication there was and more. Shopping center 5 min away, Playa 10 min. attention from the perfect hosts, they always answered quickly and solving or answering questions.

It's difficult because much of our complications didn't have to necessarily do with the house itself. We loved the house. It was extremely difficult to get to and from town even when purchasing a golf cart, to which depending on the size of your group, we would definitely would get more than one cart because it was hard getting a lot of people up and down the mountain and charging the cart was a problem. I killed a very large cockroach that was on the very high ceiling of our bathroom but I had to spray chemicals all over to get it down. Also killed a large black scorpion in the master bedroom. Again, not necessarily the houses fault because you're literally almost in the woods up there so it made sense. The cleaning lady that was there every day was super kind and helpful. We had massage therapist come up to the house twice which was great. The host was very helpful and responsive. Overall, we really liked and enjoyed the house but would probably stay closer to town next time.
