My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

Peter was a great host. Greeted me, responded to all my messages but gave me a lot of privacy. When I didn’t need him, I never saw him. Location is about 15-20 minutes walking to shops which might be a little too far but uber is inexpensive. Greenside is centrally located if you’re doing things in Joburg north. The place was fairly basic but very clean and well-maintained. Had no issues with electricity, pests or sanitation. Would stay here again.

Kim was really great and friendly. She communicated very well during my stay and was helpful. The cottage was clean and had a beautiful touch of furniture that was unique. The cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities you require to stay. Thank you so much Kim for a lovely stay.

Renate’s place was pristine, clean, minimalist, warm and all the nice things! We checked in a day before my birthday and she even got us a cake. She goes over and beyond for her guests and is a friendly and warm presence. Did I already mention how perfectly clean the room was! You have to go there for yourself to truly experience this. Thanks Renate!

Loved our stay at Ncedi’s, it felt very homey.. The area was quiet and the cottage was clean and well kept. There were a lot of thoughtful touches such as a gas heater, folding table to work whilst in bed, make-up remover towels and an umbrella (which came in super handy!). The cottage was a little smaller than we anticipated but all in all very cute.

This cottage is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Cosy, well furnished, with a private garden to sit and enjoy some quiet time among the beautiful tree ferns. We only stayed a night on our way transiting through Joburg but found the commute of abt 30 mins to OR Tambo perfectly manageable. very safe within a boom gated community and close to the shops at Four Ways amd Design Quarter. Quality bed linen, a jacuzzi style bath, and lovely welcoming selection of complimentary snacks were much appreciated. Deirdre and her husband welcomed us and made us and showed us around, making us feel instantly at home. we'll definitely be back! Thank you

Staying at Mandy's was absolutely fantastic! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, the house is gated and the location was central to everything I needed. 4th street is also just a quick walk away and has a bunch of cute stores and restaurants. Mandy was super responsive and made sure I had heating in the apartment (during winter). Would definitely recommend and would love to come back if I am in the area again!

What a lovely stay at Sarah’s beautiful place. I stayed for two nights for a business trip in the city. Everything was spotless. Sarah is a thoughtful and responsive host and will come back anytime I need to be in the city again.

First time I have stayed at Brigitte’s. The unit was very spacious, had everything listed and that I required. Great shower, fast WiFi. I was very happy and will return.

I travel a lot for work. And this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Amazing place. Amor was more than amazing. They really paid detailed attention making the place so nice.

Wow! This is to be one of my favourite stays. The cottage was perfect for a few nights stay, but I wished I could’ve stayed longer. Great full kitchen, the bread, butter, milk etc was very much appreciated. Beautiful rooms, comfy bed, nice lounge, Netflix, beautiful space with nice lighting. The shower was a highlight with great water pressure! Could not fault it and highly recommend.

I've had a great stay at Frances's house. The location is the best in Johannesburg, it's very close to Zoo Lake (which is very beautiful for walkings and watching birds), Rosebank Mall (shopping center and restaurants, a lot of coffeeshops). Besides, this area is quiet and safe for tourists. And it was such a pleasure to meet Frances. If you're interested in South African culture, art, life in Johannesburg - this is the best place for you to stay with Frances. Thank you for the accommodation and all the help from you! Johannesburg is one of me favorite cities now.

Firstly the whole place is amazing, so peaceful and clean. The garden is breathtaking!!!! How can I forget to mention the service? The caretaker is super friendly and so helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

Sibylle is such a sweetheart. We absolutely loved staying at her place. The space was clean, easy to relax and work if one needs to. If I am ever in the area I would not hesitate coming back. We appreciated the fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli. Her recommendations and books will give anyone a great orientation of what to do in Johannesburg. Lesley is a wonderful lady and host. Quick to respond and helpful to any needs and will take initiative to go above and beyond Her place feels like a real home away from home and wasn't short of anything for me and my daughter

My stay at Etienne's place was exquisite! 👌🏿 I loved the place and wish I had stayed longer, but I had to cut my stay short due to unexpected family issues. Without a doubt, Etienne is a great and very responsive host.

Nicci’s place was home away from home with attention to detail to the smallest things. With the temperatures dropping due to season’s change a heater was available to warm up the room. Working space was handy too. Tranquil if you want peaceful surroundings. Fresh milk & tusks were a nice treat, including the tea and coffee station

Sarah is a fantastic Airbnb host and I now consider her a friend. I cannot recommend her place enough. Sarah made my first solo visit to South Africa an absolute joy. She introduced me to Melville, gave great tour recommendations for the surrounding area, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, safe, and happy during my stay. I stayed here for work at WITS, but would love to come back again for a vacation.

Absolutely worth it!!!! Comfortable, clean, private and cosy. I highly recommend this place if you are in Jozi for business or leisure.
