There is a car road all the way to the cabin all year round, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for hiking in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter there is a cross country trail right behind the cabin and you can go on an alpine ski right outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

The apartment is equipped with what you need for a few days stay. In addition to the 5 sleeping places there is a separate cot in one bedroom. Moderne leilighet ca 2 km fra Lom sentrum. Den ligger idyllisk til på en gård med fint uteområde. Det er mange turmuligheter i nærområdet. Alt fra turer rett ut fra boplassen og lengre turer som Galdhøpiggen og Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen og Breheimen nasjonalpark med mange fjell. For de med ski er det tilgang til skibod med “skiwise” for å stelle skiene. Det er hage og plen rundt huset og det er greit å gå ned til Lom sentrum. Vi er en barnefamilie med aktivt barn. Noe lyd må påberegnes.

You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
