Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Fort Washington

Just stayed this weekend!! it was 4 of us staying and spacious and accommodating for all of us!! 100% recommend, hosts were absolutely amazing!! Beautiful space and great if you have a pet!! We definitely want to stay here again!

This place was perfect! The term cozy is an understatement. From the yard and throughout the home this place was so welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. The bathroom was spotless and the heated floors were glorious. Best 3 nights sleep we have had on this road trip. my husband was ready to steal the mattress and linens. Our pups loved the large fenced in yard.

Great host! Responded to any questions I had about anything. Place was so clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our visit!

This air b&b is in a beautiful setting with plenty to do (kayaking, hot tub, fire pits, bird watching, etc). It's also very centrally located so we could easily get to more populated areas in no time. The most stunning part of the house is the master suite in my opinion which is on the upper level (the upper level is shared with another apartment, but you don't really hear the air b&b tenants of this suite and it's completely separate with a separate entrance). Stunning views from both the master bedroom and the bath tub in the master suite! The downstairs is also quite lovely with two regular bedrooms, one small bedroom, and a sun room that has a pull out couch (we didn't use it). It's a lovely house to entertain in. It has personal photographs to the owner downstairs that speak to the family's history. The owner is communicative. The overall experience was quite lovely. We'd be happy to return.

One of the coolest Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Loved the vibe, the wall of windows looking at the trees, and super comfy beds. Would defiantly stay here again.

What a great air bnb! Kristine has a gem in old town Alexandria! It’s in a perfect location and while parking can be a little tricky, we lucked out the entire weekend and never had to pay for it. This place was great for our family, even with 2 young ones! My husband and I loved drinking wine on the rooftop patio once our kids were asleep. I would 100% re-rent this home if we are ever in Alexandria again.

We had a great stay! The yard was perfect for our dog and playing with our grandson. There was plenty of water and the house met all our needs. The neighborhood was fantastic and we loved taking walks and seeing everyone else out walking their kids and dogs! Definitely will come back!!

Lee and Chrissy were great hosts. They were very responsive and addressed any issues that came up. We really felt that they cared about the quality of our stay. They recommended a taco truck nearby that we walked to on more than one occasion- it was so delicious. Also we loved the various floors of the home and the outdoor space. It was perfect for our family of 5! If you’ve had negative experiences with hosts in the past, you can rest assured you will not have those issues with Chrissy and Lee. Thank you guys for taking care of us and making sure your home felt like home to us!

Perfect home for our family getaway. This updated home was spotless and well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. My kids loved seeing the horse so close to the house. After a log day exploring the area, there was so much to do at the house if you wanted to relax and recharge or keep the kids busy - from the pool, fire pit, basketballs and footballs, ping pong, arcade and board games, hot tub, and more. The grounds are idyllic and peaceful with the W & OD Trail just steps away from the house. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay! I had such a great experience staying at Raquel’s place! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel right at home. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Raquel was incredibly responsive and helpful, offering great local recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made a difference. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

Lily's place was immaculate and she was very prompt with her responses. The apartment is in a quiet part of Arlington and very walkable. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We LOVED the space! We’ve been working on downsizing and the layout and hidden storage areas were exactly what we want in our future home. It was so, so comfortable. So much so that we never did use the hot tub that we really wanted to use 😂 We enjoyed the space and just vegged. We were doing Safety Patrol for the Bay Bridge Swim and there was plenty of room for our jet skis & double trailer. Wonderful hosts. Even joined us on the pool deck (upon invitation) for some friendly conversation. Cinnamon the golden was a sweetie too. Wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate to book. You won’t be sorry.

I have been a customer of Airbnb for years this by far exceeded all of my expectations. From the time that I arrived, my hostess was amazing flexible and so helpful even offered to give me a ride into DC because my train was delayed, and I arrived in Fort Washington later than expected . So hospitable, kind, generous and caring. I will definitely be back.

This home is great! It is large and spacious, so if you have a bigger group, you don’t have to be on top of each other. Good location near the national harbor and the Capitol! Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We loved our time here.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Nebiyu’s house. It was more than enough room for our group and very convenient location to National Harbor and Old Town Alexandria. The house was spacious and clean!

We are repeat guests at the cabana. It is a great place to stay! Always clean, right near the Tiki Bar, beautiful setting and love listening to the water under the cabana. The hosts are always responsive!

We loved our 1 night stay! The lake was gorgeous, the lodge was cozy, and the bed was comfy. We played cards in front of the fireplace in the evening time, beautiful fireplace! Got pizza at Tony’s and brought it back for dinner. We can also recommend the Thai restaurant called “Little Peppers” that’s in town. We caught 30 fish in 2.5 hours with a rooster tail lure. Bass, bluegill, and crappie. Biggest one we caught was over a 12” long. Fished between 4:30-6:30pm and then the following morning between 8:30-9:30am. Fish were biting like crazy at all times! We fished from the dock and also from different spots on shore as we walked to all the accessible spots of the lake. Outside showers were awesome! Other wildlife we spotted were: 15 Canadian Geese hanging out on the pond, 3 heron (2 blue/1 white), 2 deer, and a groundhog! The deck, outside seating, and planted foliage and flowers were so beautiful. The view is incredible. The host is super sweet and so helpful ❤️

My friends and I booked a night here while attending a concert in the area. Dimitry was very accommodating and the instructions given for checking in and checking out were very clear and easy to understand. Upon entering, the airbnb was very tidy and smelled clean and fresh. Just a heads up: they do have a dog (barks but ultimately uninterested in guests, we had no issues), and you will be able to hear movement from upstairs if the family is home. Also, there is no way to control the thermostat from the Airbnb. These weren’t an issue for us but just wanted to mention it in case it is useful for anyone else. We were highly satisfied with our stay, and we would definitely recommend staying here.
