High-altitude family home surrounded by nature

Our house is located in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park at an altitude of 1000 m. Former 19th century farmhouse, it was successively a summer camp, a gîte and then a family home. We renovated it with quality natural materials. The 230 m2 house is intended for lovers of old stones but also Art and Design in search of a comfortable haven of peace to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, 1 hour from Geneva and 1 hour 45 minutes from Lyon.

Located in the heart of the Haut Jura Regional Nature Park, at the foot of the Pic de l'Aigle, close to the Herisson waterfalls, our cottage is fully equipped for your comfort. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including a master suite with private bathroom. A large kitchen upstairs, a summer kitchen that opens onto the terrace on the ground floor. "Côté Lacs" welcomes you near the Cascades du Hérisson, in a warm and cozy wooden house, in the heart of the lakes region renamed "Little Scotland" to recharge your batteries with family or friends. In the middle of a natural site of 7 mid-mountain lakes, we put this larch and tree framework to discover this little piece of paradise. We marinated and renovated wooden furniture from the family attic to make this interior warm.

Fort du Plasne: ''the Emmenthal cottage'' spacious and warm apartment

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This former party room was renovated in 2010. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with 4 large bedrooms and 50 m2 of living space, a well-equipped open kitchen (kitchenaid, blender, microwave, dishwasher, etc.). Located in the heart of Jura, 10 minutes from the Hérisson Falls, close to Clairvaux, the lake region and on the road to Switzerland.

The Lynx Boréal Nordic bath

A description sheet regarding the operation of the hot tub is available inside the cottage. Please read it carefully. For electric/hybrid cars only, we ask for a daily fee of €5, to be paid in cash at the beginning of your stay. A €300 deposit will be required at the beginning of your stay. Bed linen, bath mats, and tea towels are included in the rental price; however, please remember to bring your own bath towels.

Towels not provided.

It is located in the small village of Foncine le Haut.
