We stayed in the clover cottage, host is so welcoming and friendly, made us feel very welcomed. Cottage is lovely and the goats and horses are an amazing add to the stay

Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

we had a wonderfully chilled break. Fully kitted out kitchen. hot tub great plus having a private bbq and private terrace was a bonus. animals great fun, plenty of parking. Bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. would highly recommend and we will definitely come back again.

Our stay at this beautiful house was most enjoyable. It's very rural. You can't really walk to places if you have young children. Not alot of footpaths. But if you want a nice quiet time to recharge your batteries this is the place. So relaxing. Well worth a visit. Will go back. Thank You. Chris and Hugh Maxwell and Family. 🥰

The most beautiful place, the home was even better than we ever imagined, plenty of space, lovely views and walking trails. Most definitely would book again.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved staying at The Paddock, Nicky was so accommodating and lovely. She welcomed us in, gave us advice for local places to visit and made it easy to feel right at home. Easy to find and plenty of room to park. We would definitely recommend Belvoir Castle just a short drive away. Thank you so much Nicky.

We’ve just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Petra’s property. The house was very clean, beds comfy and had loads of stuff for a baby/toddler which was very helpful! Petra sent us lots of places to go and see and we did most! Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning soon! Sophie, wills, Betsy, saffron and holly.

What a lovely place in a great location. Really cosy with the cottage kitted out with everything one needs to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Very easy to find, clear welcome and leaving instructions and a lovely welcome package upon our arrival. Location is within easy walking distance to the centre of town with access to pubs, restaurants etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jane's cottage. Jane was very responsive and kindly left us some food and beverages which we were very grateful for. Cottage was a great size and very clean. would love to return in the future

A lovely stay! 6 adults and 3 dogs stayed here and we had plenty of space. The lodge was comfy and clean and had everything we needed! Lovely location with lots of walks but also really close to Bakewell and Buxton!

We had a lovely time staying on the boat. Sharon was really helpful from start to finish. Everything was set up for our stay and we had a great time. This trip was myself, my brother, and my Dad, so two of us used the bedrooms and one of us slept on the sofa bed in the living room. There were ample blankets, cushions, and pillows for all three beds. The amount of space on the boat was great for us. I think three single people was the right amount for the boat, or four people if they were both couples. We entertained ourselves with food and drink on the picnic bench above the deck, and watching TV below deck. There was a strong WiFi signal and the streaming services on TV worked fine. Being on the Trent meant it was easy to go for a walk. We must have covered 8 miles on Saturday, along the River and into a couple of villages. All in all, we had a great time and would love to stay again on the future.

Wonderful short break in John's lovely cabin. Beautiful setting by the river. Loved how everything had been handmade with love which made the cabin cosy and homely. The canoes are great and so relaxing, having a little paddle down the river, the kids loved it. Took a walk to The Bluebell in Hoby for a hearty pub lunch, then back to the cabin where we sat outside till well after dark, toasting marshmallows by the fire and playing Headbandz! Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing family short break away. Thankyou John for your excellent hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay here — the house is cozy, quiet, and full of warmth. It reminded me of my university days in Nottingham, and for a few nights, it felt like I had traveled back to that time. Thank you for creating such a comforting space. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

truly a home from home it has every thing from airfryer to washing machine. Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

Very nice apartment in a quiet building. Check in was easy with clear instructions. Within walking distance of the city centre and its bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Greenman Cottage was perfect for a short break for us. Cosy but comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Martha was a great host and easy to communicate with!

A little gem. Everything we needed. Very well thought out. Left us some milk to make a cuppa and biccys to relax with after our long drive. Very friendly and anything we needed, we just had to ask. Will return again.

Steve was an incredibly welcoming and attentive host. He provided us with plenty of useful information ahead of our arrival, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is in a perfect central location, within walking distance of everything we needed. If I’m ever back in Nottingham, I’ll definitely stay at his place again.
