My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very peaceful and had fantastic views of the mountains. The deck might have been our favorite part of the stay as we just sat in the chairs and enjoyed the peace and solitude. We would definitely recommend this place!

This was the perfect getaway cabin for our honeymoon! It was the perfect size and everything was very clean and functional. It felt so cozy and was a joy to stay in. The area is private without being too far from town. Melissa is very quick to respond to any questions. Our stay was well worth the price and we would happily stay here again!

Stargazing was wonderful! The house was warm and cozy. The location was perfect for visiting the petrified red wood forest, sightseeing around Colorado Springs and hiking. The field guide Carla provided was invaluable. We had great food at the Thunderbird and enjoyed visiting rescued wolves. We couldn’t have picked a better place to wrap up our Colorado family adventure. Thank you!

The house itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need – from cozy blankets to a well-equipped kitchen and even little extras that made our stay extra special. The location is breathtaking – nestled in the serene Colorado mountains, it’s the perfect mix of peaceful seclusion and easy access to nearby sights like Mueller State Park, Florissant Fossil Beds, and Cripple Creek. Waking up to mountain views and sipping coffee on the deck while watching deer pass by was pure magic. Tammy was an outstanding host: kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about making sure her guests have an unforgettable experience. It truly felt like a home away from home, with a warm and welcoming energy that made it hard to leave.
